Vizio really is driving the market. The best TVs are priced out of most people's range, but they are bringing the best bang for the buck and removing unnecessary costs like TV tuners at the price of being called a TV

Wow the remote control is a freaking tablet!

Excellent review, I kind of want one, but I have zero reason to upgrade from my year old LG.

Check out the review below:

I have this TV in a larger screen. The picture is amazing, love that I can use Google Cast to cast anything to the screen.

Note to anyone interested though as it does cause concerns for some people. These P-Series TV's do not have a TV Tuner built in, so you cannot just hook up an antenna and watch. It'll work fine for anyone else though (and technically, you can buy a separate TV tuner box if you need one).

At least Best Buy removed their phantom sale on the 65" panel. They did have a reg price of $2299 with $300 off, but it looks like they decided to stop lying (still doing it on the 75" though). Maybe they'll do a real sale on the 65" for Memorial Day.

Worth noting that the 50" is $100 off the Vizio price, and the 55" is $200 off. Can we get the 65" for $1699?

that would be awesome. I'm hoping that will happen, since Samsung deals under $2000 have been popping up recently

I sure hope that leaving out the tuner isn't a new trend.

I actually watch OTA channels!

I am actually in support of it removing tuners, smart functions, etc in lieu of higher quality display.

A TV this big should be going thru a receiver anyways, so heck even more than 2 HDMI's arent necessary, and for smart functions, just add a $35 chromecast that will do a better job anyways.

how much are they saving removing the tv tuner?

from a consumer standpoint, they are pretty expensive for us to buy... there are all sorts of crappy ones for under $50, so those don't count

I respectfully disagree.

One size does NOT fit all, in this case, as less is not more. Removing features does not equate to higher picture quality.

If that works for you, then great.

I hate that the 75 is nearly double the price of the 65. I would much prefer the 75. I'll wait a few more years for the larger sizes to become more reasonably priced. I already have a 65" 4k...

From the review, seems that the 55" is an IPS panel. Not sure about the other sizes.

Only the 55 in the P series is IPS. The rest aren't.
