How to read PDF's on Kindle for Windows PC and Android ????????

NobleCrusader 352 55 May 26, 2016 at 07:25 AM
Hi All,

I have magazines, manuals, and other documents that are in PDF format.

I have the "Kindle for Windows" software on my Windows 10 PC and the Kindle app on my Android tablets. I do NOT have a Kindle device or an Amazon "Fire" tablet, nor do I plan on getting these.

How do I upload/send these PDFs to my Kindle account so that I can view and synchronize them on all of my devices, i.e., my Windows PC and my Android tablets? Confused

I've looked all over online for info, but I can't get any clear directions.

Thanks in advance!

just use a PDF reader on Windows, and some sort of PDF reader in Android, or use Google books. Any reason it has to be Kindle?

cheap, fast, good - pick any two.

PSA: Yahoo email is extremely insecure...switch to Gmail if you can!! Hotmail is better but not as good as Gmail.

You can send the files to your kindle's email address: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/cu...=201974220 . If you turn on archiving, it will also upload the files to your amazon cloud storage place. You may have to convert the files to kindle format in order to get synchronization, as I don't think pdf's will synchronize across devices.

This is what I was trying to figure out. Is the problem the OP's computer has the kindle app set as the default PDF reader?
