It appears the original 40 off code is dead.

As an alternative though you can go to https://www.plastc.com/share

and refer yourself.

that gives you 20$ off the purchase price, and the refferal email will get a 20$ amazon card when the card ships... essentially making it 75 dollars

it looks like this one wont need to be replaced like coin (i think that was the name) because this has a charger that keeps its life long... i might bite on this... seems pretty grea, since they took some of my security concerns from some of these other similar type items

not sure but it appears i was able to double dip a bit here. let me explain.

before i followed your post, i referred myself via my wifes email address. they have a referral program for 20$ off for the person you refer and $20 amazon giftcard for the person who referred you.

i followed the link "my wife" sent me, and it took me to the order page, with the unique 20 off code, the $40 off code wouldn't stack so i deleted the unique and input the $40 off.

as soon as i placed an order i got the email that the referral was successful and that "my wife" will receive a 20$ amazon card upon shipment of the card.

essentially this brings the price down (i didn't pay tax) to $55, and i might do the same to get one for my wife then too, since this is a good price. knowing that they will charge $50 a year for subscription alone, a perk we get for free with pre order

Sick! This is the best of all the cards. Stratos, Coin, Swype, Wocket, none of them are equipped to handle EMV chip technology like Plastc.

Huge thumbs up and rep to the OP!!!! Suck a slickdeal! Subscrition for life for only $75 when it will be $50 a year if you wait!

Plastc Card is built with the hardware to support EMV payments however support for EMV will not be available at launch. EMV requires Plastc to have relationships with payment networks and banking institutions to be able to support that technology. Firmware updates will enable this technology.

The advantage will be having a physical card to carry with you, but it doesn't seem like Plastc is supports tokenization and virtual card numbers yet.

Their splash page mentions EMV and NFC compatibility coming soon, but judging by how long it has taken the big boys (Samsung, Apple, Google) to establish partnerships, I wouldn't hold my breath on having these features in the near future.

This is going to be huge...or a huge failure. I read that they wont ship these until September so it sounds like they are getting funding for manufacture costs. Any other feedback or information found on this?
