I run a 3 bath home with 4 People in it and we have hot water 24/7 that NEVER runs out!

That and my electric bill is 20% less than it was a year ago before the on demand water heater.

A Smart move for us, could be a real benefit for your family.

Let me know if you have any questions.

When you install it Please be sure to add an inline filter and a calcium cartridge BEFORE the heater. Lime and scale build up Kills these quickly so take precautions and
you will be very happy!
Not sure how accurate this video is about tankless water heaters, but it is funny https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vffdymvjluk

Also, the one reviewer on Amazon said to make sure to have it installed by a professional electrician and plumber and that the warranty card needs their information on it and sent in within 30 days otherwise it's not covered.
you will need an electrician and probably a box upgrade unless you have a very high rated electrical box.. these things can suck more electricity while running than a whole house actual cost of ownership is very high. you are probably better off getting a water heater timer and shutting your water heater off when you are not home or sleeping and then getting a smaller water heater just large enough to serve your needs so it will heat the water quickly....

these things are like solar... sounds great until you do the math

unless you are getting subsidies for solar the payback is 30 years and the life of panels is between 10 and 15 years so you end up replacing them before they pay themselves off. the best 15 year old solar panel is rated at about half what a normal panel is today then add on top of that that the panels degrade, very expensive batteries need to be replaced..

Its nice to be green .. but this is not reasonable technology for the average consumer.. this is vanity product and not something worth it at this time.. maybe in 50 or 100 years things like this will actually work but not today.. its like an electric car that costs $60k that also requires battery replacement about every 6 years.

It is just not economical for most people..

This unit is cheap maybe.. however what about the cost of electrical service upgrades? that can cost you maybe as much or twice what the heater costs...

Even if this unit was free that cost may be the same or more than replacing your current heater with a better insulated unit then adding a timer and also adjusting the volume of water being heated.

Hopefully prospective buyers have their electrical panels in their mechanical rooms.

It only requires a 200 amp home hookup. Easy enough to add a couple of breakers if your panel has space for it.

I see people making DIY wood burning hottubs from 300 gallon IBC tanks. Anyone think this could be used for that purpose?

I read reviews before about lights dimming when this all electric tankless is in use due to the amount of electricity required to run this appliance, is that true with yours at all? also, side note for anyone interested in this deal, as far as I know you will need a "licensed plumber/electrician" install this or else warranty is voided.

gas/propane is generally always cheaper to run than electric per btu output last I checked. not sure where in the country electricity rates would be low enough to make this cost effective long term.

This is most useful for apartment or condo that use electric water heater to start with. Not worth it if you have gas hook up, IMO.

I have never experienced any brown outs or dimming, not even a flicker. I have a 5000 large home all LED lighting and run the AC when needed.bulb

And I agree you do need an electrician for the initial install. Pay the $$ and get it done right!
