sure, as long as you don't count smart tv apps (TCL and lg at least on my experience), Xbox, PlayStation, web browsers or Android devices. Probably more, those are just the ones I've personally used. But yeah, if you don't count those fire only. they're monsters.

Hard to lock yourself into the Amazon ecosystem that refuses to support other platforms besides their Fire devices. Be more tempting if any were UHD

I said the same thing the other day about wishing Amazon was compatible with chromecast and my friend told me you can cast Amazon video via chrome. I haven't tried it personally, but it seems like that should work. Although it would be nice to be able to just donor from my phone instead...

Has anyone tried No rush credits on DVDs or Blu-rays? or does it only apply to streaming options?

I think it's only streaming, but just asking in case someone has used it before with success.

Edit: found answer in email:

Unless Amazon allows tie in with the Ultraviolet system in the future, there is not much sense in purchasing these. Sure, you can steam through Roku and the Amazon Tabs, but I would not buy another Amazon tablet, not with the data mining their doing on people using their devices. There is a reason why the Fire devices have dropped in price and are so low now.

I bought 2 Fire TV Boxes (current gen) only for the ability to be able to watch Playstation Vue, which at $35 a month for $70 channels in my area is half of what Dish was charging. Only option as Sony does not offer an app for use through the Roku.
Also, I'm sure you know that you can stream Vue through Chromecast via an Apple tablet & app, though I have never tested that as I do not own an Ipad, nor would I personally buy one just for that reason.

And I can't tell you how pissed of Amazon customers were when Flixster via Amazon no longer supported Ultraviolet streaming. Know there is no way to stream a UV collection through any Amazon device (unless you root). Disappointing to say the least.
