What a bunch of morons.

This is a $139 27" monitor. It's excellent value. If you want a high end 27" gaming monitor then you'll likely pay 3-4X the price.

I bought this monitor and love it. (as did the tons of reviewers that gave is a 4.7 star rating)

P.S. For you thread crappers. Either show examples of better performance at similar prices or lower prices for similar performance.

I "upgraded" to this monitor from 2x23" Samsung LCD screens. I have been very happy with my purchase. I am a photographer by day and gamer by night. This monitor has worked great for editing photos and the countless hours I've already spent playing Overwatch.

Text is not difficult to read, don't listen to what these people are spewing. Details are well resolved in lightroom, photoshop, etc.

For the price, solid 9/10 monitor.
Seriously?

Picked up one of these last time from Best Buy's website, and actually went ahead and tried to find it again the other day. In for another. Pretty impressed with the colors and overall look.

Just using it for general computing, can't say how it is for gaming.

Looks like a pretty sweet deal. The monitor is glossy but has anti glare properties. Does anyone have any experience with HP screens?

Can someone help me? I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff, I will need this for my gaming PC i'm building.
How does this compare to this Asus: http://www.microcenter.com/produc...ED_Monitor

Obviously the screen is bigger but the response time is 7ms vs 1ms, not sure how big of a difference that makes in gaming?

In a gaming monitor you want AT LEAST 120mhz refresh rates (preferably 144mhz), otherwise you'll have screen tearing and capping issues. If you're build a modern gaming rig, splurge on the monitor.

My PHONE has a higher resolution screen than this monitor.

Simply too funny people are actually going to literally throw away money on this monitor. lol.

On top of that this monitor uses PWM dimming which will damage the rods and cones in your eyes and give you massive eye strain and headaches.

I see your point, cheapo monitor. But when I look on Amazon or other sites it seems hard to find a 27inch monitor with higher resolution. Some have more responsiveness, curved screens, etc but seems strange that my phone and my laptop have a higher pixel density.
