I have bought and owned 7 Vizio's ranging across all model letters and sized from 24" to 75" over the period of 8-9years. I have NEVER had an issue whatsoever....EVER. I can NOT say that about my Sony's or Samsung's or LG's!!!

Trying to decide on getting this, or waiting for the new M series. Not sure if the M series will be worth $600 more.

Not sure, but you might be able to purchase it with a 10% increase. That would be the fee if you don't have a membership.

the picture quality is just terrible in my opinion, not a good value at this price point.. you can tell its not getting any love with thumbs up

and i have no doubt that you had those many vizios had no problems. i can speak on just personal experiences and what the numbers say online. vizio is known to have the highest return rate, which equals to many refurb and resellers on theses tvs. you have been the lucky one with no problems.... so far

If it lacks a tuner it's not a TV, it's a monitor.

The tuner is the device that lets you 'tune in' the different over-the-air broadcast channels; since it has no-built in TV tuner (male coax connection), you can't connect this TV to an antenna to get free terrestrial broadcasts.* (I am assuming that most people with cable/satellite use HDMI, component, or good old RCA-out for picture & video.)

That would usually be a deal-breaker for me since I don't subscribe to cable/satellite and like to receive local channels for news and weather -- but these days I am an a very small minority! I just moved away from a really snowy area too, and having an antenna to get the weather/news is a godsend when the cable/internet lines are down and your satellite dish is under a couple of feet of snow.

Thankfully, the new place I moved -- far, far from any hint of snow -- includes basic cable in the rent, so it's a non-issue. I will be watching this deal and for reviews of this TV to pop up.

*some cable / satellite boxes have a place for an antenna connection however, rendering the lack here moot anyway.
