It might be running on 250W PS...you'll need to replace the PS to do that...while you're at it - replace the HDD to SDD

Placed an order with almost same price yesterday for XPS 8900(scratch and dent) at dell.outlet

same cpu,gpu and hard drive, but only 8G ram.

This Lenovo is brand new and sold by Costco.

The advantage of XPS is higher PSU(450w).

should I switch to this one? or just stay with my order

Guys, can I ask your advice? I need mid-level gaming PC. What would be the best option to proceed? I have spare OS license, monitor and SSD for OS drive. I'd like to stay in sub/low 1K range if possible.
1. Go for DIY route
2. Buy something like that and upgrade PSU and video. What components would you suggest?
3. Wait for another similar deal (basic package, which will require small upgrades)

One "nice to have" in the list is ability to plug mSata SSD but it is not the deal breaker.

Thank you!
