Deal Preview not working anymore

Buzzy62 16 10 June 4, 2016 at 06:29 AM
As long as I can remember, whenever I clicked on a deal listed, it would expand and show more details about the deal. NOW, it just opens the link as a new page. The problem with that is, when I go BACK, the marker for "Deals since last visit" gets erased! Did you change the behavior of this permanently or is it just a bug that has been overlooked?

If it's permanent, it sucks.
If not, it's been like this for the past 2 days. Can it be fixed, soon?

We haven't made any changes to this lately, so if possible can you let me know if you're in Classic or Resesign view and whether you are set to List, Simple, or Grid view on the Frontpage? That will help us figure out if this is a bug. Smilie

I am using the simple view, not using the Redesign.

FWIW, I am running Win7, Pale Moon x64 (newest version).

EDIT: Also verified the latest version of Java.

EDIT2: OK, I tried removing my cookies and closing the browser and restarting. Now, the issue is even worse. I can't even click the X on the "We've heard your feedback ..." notification. Nothing happens when I click on any of the stuff that should DO something (like my name, to log out or the "Simple" display, or "Preferences", etc).

I checked to see if these functions work in IE (never going to use it for anything OTHER than testing functionality) and they DO work there.

So, it would appear that it's a Mozilla/SD issue as nearly all functionality has ceased to work anymore.

Finally figured it out (after rebooting, testing the same issues on other computers). It must have been something that got corrupted on this ONE computer. I completely uninstalled (reinstalling/repairing didn't work) and then installed fresh. Now everything is working as it should.

Sorry if you spent any considerable time on this.

TLDR: It's now working!!
