Deal Details

I just received a promo email from Microcenter that they now have the HTC Vive in stock and for a limited time they are offering the following free 3 VR games this weekend only with the bundle until store codes run out:

Google Tilt Brush
Fantastic Contraption
Job Simulator

$110.00 Value

Note: This is the normal retail price of the Vive but the games are not normally included. $110.00 value. I have the Vive and these games are incredible! Definitely a bonus! The Vive still has a waiting list if you order from HTC direct and the only other option is eBay with inflated pricing.

Great deal if you have a MC near you. There is no code to bring to the store to get the free games. They are selling the bundle with the free games this weekend until their store code runs out.

Check your local MC inventory to see availability near you.

They are also have in-store VR demos now to try out the unit in select areas:

Make sure your computer can run this. It's demanding and needs at least a GTX 970 GPU for a smooth experience.vomit

You should call and see if they'll hold one. Even though it's a hot ticket item, you never know unless you ask. What would really suck is if you check SD a few hours later and someone comes on here and says they just got one from the store you're thinking of.

Also I get 5% off one item codes on my store receipts for a later purchase when I buy items there. You may want to check your receipts just in case.

Late to posr that. But I am in the car to let people know there are 15 or less left here in Tustin/Irvine Microcenter. Just got mine. They do not offer product protection for it. Make sure to use American Express to cover yourself.

HTC Vive is awesome. Got mine a couple weeks ago and also came with these games. Only slick deal here is finding one in store as ordering from HTC takes some time to receive but they still send the game codes for same games.

Btw, poolnation VR is a must buy for those that pick this up.

I personally like the (LAB) Valve demo that is free on Steam. Fantastic way to experience the Vive with numerous ways to interact.

I did the demo at MS store. Now I want this. Oh the wants. It is amazing. I might have to drive down and get one despite my underpowered system and just tolerate it until the new graphics cards and readily available. Who knows how hard they will be to get in the near future? I think there's a butt load of people waiting on the new GPUs and when they hit shelves the VR shortage might get worse.

I believe this is the same deal/price as if you'd have preordered it.

The HTC website sells them but are done through Digital River. They charge me shipping for as much as $35 plus tax. Comes out to like $917 total which is such a total rip off. So this post essential gave me a deal. I had to drive down which costs me gas, but it was well worth the drive to go to a Microcenter and get myself a Raspberry Pi 3 for $25. Thanks for the post OP!
