Toshiba 1TB Canvio Connect II Portable External Hard Drive, Black

A bunch of local Walmarts have this in stock for $30. I've got 5 locations within 30 miles showing 2+ in stock. Boston area.

Item ID: 44439325
http://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker

Next cheapest I could find was Best Buy at $54.99

One of my local stores has the 2TB version for $49, much better deal IMHO.

Yea I went to my local store and found the 3tb wd and the 3tb canvio for $54. along with the 2tb cloud drive. I'm surprised I found anything but then again I went about an hour after the initial clearance post.

Yeah the 2TB cloud drive seems to be very common, I found them at a few of my local stores without even looking for them. Personally I'm more interested in the portable drives but those are good deals also

What are the item id #'s for the 2&3tb versions?

I got a 1TB Canvio II, a couple of days ago for $15, but no other drives seemed exceptionally marked down to me. (Yes, I know the first drops got announced somewhere at the end of last month.)

I thought about opening it to see if the USB 3.0 was soldered directly to the drive, but I'm pretty sure that they all are now.

On my way to Walmart now, hopefully Brickseek doesn't let me down! I'll check for the 2tb/3tb as well. I don't know where to find their item id's..

This may or may not help much, I use the Walmart app to find most of the major and undisclosed YMMV deals but it unfortunately doesn't list the item or UPC numbers.

I use the app, but it's pretty flakey, even while your inside the store trying to scan upc off items. Usually just tells me unavailable info or something, while I scramble to find a wall scanner on the other side of the store.

Yeah I don't really use it for the scanning function, that's tied to the Walmart website pricing anyway so it's usually wrong for in store prices. Then again, I disabled location services for that app so that I could browse other stores pricing while standing inside of another store so that could be why the price scanner never works correctly for me.

Pretty well useless on the Walmart app. The Target app works, but if the wall scanner there doesn't jibe with the app, then tough luck, too. :/

Just got to Walmart and even though brickseek shows 2+ in stock and the Walmart site shows 1 in stock, there's not even a spot/tag for them on the shelf. Nowhere to be found.

Sales guy said sorry, and that he doesn't know..

Looking at my 1TB Canvio II receipt, I see that it only has the upc next to the price. I have no idea where people get the item id numbers. Oh, at the end of the walmart.com product page url. I see!

That sounds exactly like my usual experience there!!

1TB UPC IS 002226590242 if that helps you.
