If these are the price everywhere, it is not a slick deal.

It is since everyone considered buydig to be slick?

You don't know what the "slick deal" means

No, that is not what the aspect of 'slick deal' entails.

Feedback is a little harsh here. I was able to get this for $1900 with tax delivered from Best Buy using these new sale prices and an account specific "10% off tech" email coupon.

I think this an awesome deal since buying from Costco gives your an extra year of warranty and they have an excellent exchange and return policy. Extra 3 year warrant is available for 90 bucks, bringing a total of 5 years.

Thanks, a lot of hate. When prices drop to lowest ever at all stores, it can still be a good deal and a heads up for those with extra coupons and what not.

Slick deal is relative to what majority of people know. If most everyone thinks the price is much more, then a sudden big reduction is a slick deal!

I bought a Sony xbr900c does anyone know how the upscaler on this compares to the samsung. I do have a bit of light bleed on the 900c so debating switching it out with this

The XBR900C is edge-lit, I originally was going to get this, but I saw the 850D for $1999 this week, I think its a much better TV for the cost. I was looking at the Samsung KS8000 as well. They both look good. I think 900C is weaker than both of those, plus for a these are 2016 models for like $200 more than the 2015 900C. I believe it's worth the switch to either 850D or KS8000.

Anyone have experience with Joe's AV? They have it today for $1729 after adding to cart with free wall mount.

Never mind. Looks like the reviews on SD aren't very good.
