Not in the market, but this looks like a $200 discount off retail [bhphotovideo.com], rare for a new Apple product.

That's because apple products typically do very well, not so much with the pro though.

The difference was that the Touchpad was incompatible with anything else on the market. This will run all IOS apps.

The iPad Pro is the top selling "2 in 1" (touchscreen computer with detachable keyboard) computer in the world.

2 in 1....LMAO....suuuuure!

I got one of the refurbs the other day for $650.

I think $800 will be common anytime now since it's not worth anywhere near retail and even the iOS lemmings won't bite much at retail for these. They are a niche product and way overpriced at retail...not a good combination for demand. Look how bad the Samsung Tab/Note Pro 12.2 flopped and it was way cheaper even at MSRP initially. It fell like a rock when nobody was buying them.

It runs some apps. I can tell you firsthand that it doesn't run the thingiverse app.

Listing says AT&T/T-Mobile only, but I thought these had the ability to use any network--that there aren't different models for different networks. Can someone verify? I don't want to get a model that I can't use on different networks and have to pay $100+ restocking fee.

Frustratingly, their listing appears to include the wrong model numbers as well. They don't seem to match what's on Apple's web site and a Google check looks like at least the model number for the silver one is for the WiFi-only model (and there isn't even a model number listed for the black one).

Sales number disagree. Go look it up yourself. The iPad Pro is considered the best selling computer with a detachable keyboard in the world.

"iPad Pro was the clear winner this season as it was the top selling detachable, surpassing notable entries from Microsoft and other PC vendors. It's also important to note that the transition towards detachable tablets has presented positive opportunities for both Apple and Microsoft. However, Google's recent foray into this space has been rather lackluster as the Android platform will require a lot more refinement to achieve any measurable success."

Mindless trolls are corrupting this place.

Is that for the 12.9? Also, hardly a 2-in-1 when it is just another iPad with a crappy keyboard cover and no mouse support. Really nothing makes it more of a 2-in-1 than any previous iPad in my opinion, and iOS is the platform that is seriously lacking in anything but tablet OS territory.

I am no troll you Apple Lemming. As I said, I bought one of the $650 iPad Pros last week, so I'm not completely trashing it. I think it'll be a great TABLET. But to call it a 2-in-1 is a joke, I think and I bet the 12.9 is a flop, sales-wise otherwise you would not see such a price drop so fast.

So fast? The thing was released 9 months ago.

Every iPad gets sales 9 months into its life.

Bad troll is bad

Sorry, but a 30% price drop in 9 months for a brand new (supposed) iPad platform is pretty darn high. You are blind in your fanboy-ism. I enjoy all three platforms and can call a spade a spade.

As for which cellular services these work on, I can't say for this iPad Pro. However, I just had a similar discussion with an Ebay seller who said something similar for an iPad Air 2 I was interested in. He said it won't work on Sprint, which is not true. I think what they may be doing is that if they don't work on ALL a carrier's bands, they may be saying they are incompatible to CYA themselves. Here's what I wrote this particular seller when he said the iPad Air 2 wouldn't work with Sprint:

The cellular iPad Air 2 model ships unlocked and with support for twenty LTE bands, more than any earlier iPad. In the US, this single iPad Air 2 supports AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon. Specifically, the iPad Air 2 (Wi-Fi/Cellular) supports LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 38, 39, 40, and 41. It also supports CDMA EV-DO Rev. A and Rev. B (800, 1900 MHz), GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz) and UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1700/2100, 1900, 2100 MHz).

Sprint's 4G LTE network runs on bands 24, 25 and 41 with band 25 in the 1900 MHz range being the carrier's primary frequency. Bands 24 and 41 are used to boost the capacity of the network and its speed.

Perhaps the issue is that the Air 2 doesn't support band 24...but 25 (the main Sprint band) and 41 are indeed covered. Perhaps you are trying to cover yourself by saying it won't work on Sprint...but I think that's misleading...as Apple clearly says it will work.
Edit: Here are the 12.9" iPad Pro bands - maybe the same issue as mine above. Notice it doesn't have Band 24, one of the 3 Sprint bands:

MTS/HSPA/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1700/2100, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
CDMA EV-DO Rev. A and Rev. B (800, 1900 MHz)
LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 38, 39, 40, 41)
