Good price but you all need to be aware this set is for BSA bottom bracket (English threading) which is different with the other popular option BB30. If you have a frame with BB30 threading, you can't use this set, unless you want to buy a separate BB30 bottom bracket component.

As a former (but long time) bike mechanic, I wouldn't recommend buying a groupset unless you are someone who was already looking for a groupset, and has a fair amount of wrenching experience on their bike. And even then, think twice.

I've sold lots of very nice 105 bikes that come into the shop because their self-installed Dura Ace group shifts poorly, or their brakes are having issues. Their new Dura Ace kit was effectively a downgrade.

Don't upgrade a Sora/Tiagra bike to Ultegra. You'll be putting high end parts on a budget frame that has budget stem, bar, seatpost, saddle, and (most importantly) wheels. Buy a Ultegra/Dura Ace/Record bike used off of CL instead.

Don't upgrade a (modern) 105 bike to Ultegra. The difference is so slight, it's barely noticeable. You'll see much more bang for the buck putting that money in wheels.

And get a pro fitting, for goodness sake! I see so many people riding ill-fitted bikes who complain of back, neck shoulder, and hand problems! it drives me crazy that people drop $5k on bikes (and all the stuff that goes with it), and they don't bother to get the dang bike fitted to their body.

Excellent deal. I brought a similar set for about the same price 3 years ago. I just wish a similar deal exist for mountain bikes (DELORE or higher)

This really is the full set, unlike what you get with retailers calling their bikes Ultegra when they leave out half of this stuff.

Awesome deal; ~$16 more than the lowest ever price, but that lasted only a day.

Potentially good timing for me. Just recently got into biking, have been looking at building a bike.

With this full groupset it almost looks like all you would need is a frame, fork, stem, handlebars, and a wheelset to complete a bike?

If I go a different direction after buying this, generally how much would an unused Ultegra groupset go for on the used market? Looking at a large loss or break even at this price?

Placed an order for this groupset with probikekit for a very similar price back in April. Didn't hear from them for a few days so I did a search and found some complaints about them. Got cold feet and canceled the order 5 days after placing it. I did receive a refund.

Should I try again? Anyone have experience with Probikekit?

I've always had good experience with probikekit. They're my go-to retailer for tires.

Do they have any deals on road bike tires right now?

It's not what's under you, it's what's in you. I'm no weight weenie but when I was in my best shape I was keeping up with the fastest guys on the road. That said, this is a great group, period. And a great price from what I can tell. Ultegra is a VERY solid groupo.
