Great charger.

Well worth the $40+ I paid for both of mine.

I paid $20 for both my 3 coil fast QI charger. I would rather have a model that allows for the device to be stood up more.

I have this one and an S7, and it will only charge in landscape positioning.

Just a heads up but I own this and several other wireless chargers. This is the only wireless charger where my Note 3 heats up. They're all similarly designed 3 coil chargers.

I have one of these, and it only charges my phone if I place it upside down. I bought it so it would act as a display stand, but it won't charge my phone right-side up. I was a tad disappointed.

For the record, I have a Samsung Galaxy S5.

looks like this has some issues with at least Samsung Galaxy S5/S6/S7 models especially with orientation. I need one for S6 edge+, any recommendations under $30 ? is the official Samsung one 3-coil ?

I have the S7 edge and it charges in all 4 directions for me. Previously I was using it with an S5 & QI insert and it also charged whichever way I placed it down.

The reason why I love this charger vs the others I tried is because I don't have to fidget with it... however I put my phone down it just works.

Don't know if some are lemons or not, but the two I have both work great. I bought one from Amazon and one from TYLT direct when they had a promo a couple years back - still going strong Smilie

I thought it was odd as well, so I contacted tylt support and they said it was a known issue for the regular s7. If I elevate my phone about half an inch it will charge in portrait. I am guessing the edges slightly larger dimensions allow it to line up with the center coil and not have the issue.

Works fine with my Galaxy S4 and S5 in all positions. I have 3 of them placed around my home and office. They are great for getting a little boost in juice while still being able to grab the phone and walk away without having to fiddle with cords. My only gripes are the slower charging speed due to Qi and that it does heat both phones up as they charge.
