Note : coupon TRIPLE15 is for new customers ONLY

However , check your email or snail mail for the last few months as coupons were given out to current (not new) customers back then worth 15% off of which are still valid till 7/30/16 . I did find a few worth 15% off .

I also have the Amex offer too (unused) , but really dont need another ssd atm , but still kinda tempted since I also have no tax (in Calif) at Jet ; with the end result making for a pretty good deal for me .

Good deal though if you are new to Jet. This isn't QUITE the cheapest for this SSD with coupons and offers....but it is still very very good. Great SSD too! I don't have AmEx and I'm not new to Jet. But either way thanks for the info OP!

I've never used jet before. I've seen some of their tv ads, but have read mixed reviews here. I would love to grab this drive or maybe two. I have American Express card. how do I get that $10 off? I don't like a company who tries to save you money by forcing you to waive returns. I mean that not a good sign.

Sign into your amex account and towards the bottom they'll have a section you can "add" deals. Jet should be on there.

Don't have to be a new member, they've sent out unique codes via snail mail and email for 15% off your next 3 purchases to just about everyone.

This is the reason why I'm leery about using a SSD. They tend to crap out faster than HDD.

huh? Ive never heard anyone say they tend to crap out faster. There is no spinning disk. I have some 60GB SSDs from back in 2010 still working fine. I dont have any HDDs from that year still going.

Any tricks to bypass the new customer verification? I've tried different emails, different address, and different phone number but still no luck.

What happened to all the Samsung EVO SSD Deals? Now that I need a 1TB they never come up.

Well, my died after 10 months of used. And my ssd is only a boot drive too. Nothing important on it. But it wasn't a Samsung. Let's hope Samsung can do better for me. Personally I think it's worth it. Ssd is so much smoother than hdd.

I sure did. So you are basing your opinion on failure rates based on one comment on the forums here. Gotcha.

I've seen no evidence of increased failure rates on SSD vs. spinners.
