From my experience from their last BOGO 50% promotion, it takes 8 weeks to have the prepaid card.
It is a good deal. But keep in mind you'll have to pay for both then get refunded. These prepaid cards take a LONG time to come through, and once they do getting the money off is annoying (actually prepaid cards is obnoxious, I'd prefer an account credit but whatever).

They have the same deal with much better phones - the Samsung Galaxy phones.

Here is the link to that offer:

Here is the details of the offer:

Choose from ANY Samsung Galaxy smartphone and the second is FREE via prepaid MasterCard® card.
How to redeem this offer:

2. Visit www.t-mobile.com/promotions within 30 days of your 2nd device purchase and complete the online form using the Promo Code: SAMSUNGBOGOMAY16

3. Rebates will be fulfilled within 8 weeks of receipt of valid request in the form of a Prepaid Mastercard® card.

Limited time offer; subject to change. Taxes and fees add’l. Subject to availability; at participating locations. BOGO: Rebate equal to FRP of lower-priced phone. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on financed phone(s) becomes due and rebate may be billed to your account if you cancel within 3 months. You must submit rebate request within 30 days of second phone purchase and remain active and in good standing with T-Mobile when rebate is processed. Allow up to 8 weeks for processing. Samsung and Galaxy S are both trademarks of Samsung Electronics America, Inc. and/or its related entities. T-Mobile and the magenta color are registered trademarks of Deutsche Telekom AG. ©2016 T-Mobile USA, Inc.

You can get the 32GB Samsung GS7 phone with this offer - much better in my opinion than the Apple iPhone SE.
That phone also has an SD slot to expand the memory, and better screen and it is waterproof.

If you like the iPhones though and don't want a Samsung/Android phone - then this deal is for you.

Every time I stop and research all the pro and cons and everything and get ready to actually order, the deal dies. Maybe I can get in on this one.

I'm interested in hearing about how to do this (without a service fee like PayPal / Square readers).

I'm trying to get a new iPhone for a friend still using an iPhone 4 8GB. I want to get it at <$200, including selling a second phone (or many other phones) for profit. I think this one might be close, but I don't like that this phone doesn't have as many bands as the AT&T or Verizon phones. However, Verizon has locked me out of buying new phones for another 6 months after getting 3 G4's and canceling them immediately, and then trying to buy 6 iPhones yesterday with the BETTER300 deal. I just might get in on this.

guys. move to android and save ur money unless there is some iPhone feature that u don't get in other phones. Using ZTE zmax 2 that was on sale recently for 50 bucks. Solid phone. you can see from reviews on best buy how many iPhone users have commented after switching to it.
