This is a great deal for a portable 13,500 btu unit! I've been looking for one and this is going to be perfect. No tax or shipping to Illinois. Thanks OP!

my tip find one with dual hose single hose units create a vacuum in your home and pulls warm air inside from outside

Most of the reviews in Amazon are from vine members who get it for free. And BJ reviews are not so great.

Confused now to get it or not.

these are close to useless without dual hose unless you live in a studio type setup. One hose means the air exhausting outside has to be replaced from elsewhere inside your house and ultimately through air spaces in doors and windows drawing warm air though the rest of your residence. It's just a horrible design. I have a 10,000 btu I never use which wouldn't even match up to a 5,000 btu window unit.

Heh...wrong place to ask that question. You will have more luck looking at the manual or Google.

Where is the dehumidifier drain hole - in the middle or at the bottom of the back?

LOL, and where do you think the dual hose gets the air?
