Of course, I just bought these when they were $6.18. Any chance that Amazon would refund the difference?

these are the best balls on the market for your dog(s). super durable (my boston terrier who chews through everything is still using the original 2 I bought him last year). plus, tennis balls are bad for your dogs teeth..

Awesome awesome thank you - I was just getting ready to buy some of these as our lab finally got enough tooth holes in these that they fill with water in the pool (still works fine btw - floats and bounces - just tired of squeezing the water out).

What's the problem with regular tennis balls and dog's teeth?

The hairs are made of material that is abrasive to dogs teeth (heck, it's designed to be bashed repeatedly into concrete and last) and traps dirt which basically even more acts like sandpaper.

I have 6 of these balls (bought them at $5 for 2). Well worth it. They are highly durable, and bounce very well. They work with the Medium Chuck-it.

If you have a dog that likes to leap in the air, they will like these. They bounce about as good as basketball (but not as much as a bouncy ball).

They are also very bright orange so they are very visible in the grass when playing fetch at parks.

My lab will rip the cover off of a tennis ball and have the rubber in chunks in less than 20 minutes.

She has yet to do more to one of these chuck it balls than a few puncture holes (balls are still intact, bounce, and float).

Highly recommend these balls. Our Golden destroys everything we bought him except these balls.

Ah well heck, I wished I had seen this earlier when I ordered my kid some headphones from Amazon. I would have ordered a few of them. These are great balls. They're durable, bright, don't collect muck like a tennis ball and bounce better than a tennis ball.

They're also bad for a dog because of the dye

If they don't, if you used a credit card they might.

My dog would destroy tennis balls in a few days. These balls are very durable and last.
