$28 + free shipping

single is $17, so 2-pack is well worth it... seems like a cool setup to keep beverages cold.

Reviews on Amazons say stay away, almost order this 2 pack cause it holds 1 gallon each and looks cool, but gonna pass after reading the reviews.

Anyone know how well these things are insulated, how they clean up, and whether they leak?

I always throw stuff in the dishwasher even when it says not to. This has worked fine with endless thermal and stainless steel cups.

Except Bubba's.

The plastic parts on the top and bottom will separate from the metal part, by a good margin. I use a regular wash with high heat rinse and no heated dry.

Yeti's, all the yeti clones, aladdin's that are about 25 years old, aladdin clones, thermos stainless double walls, etc, etc.

So plan for hand washing only and perhaps a shorter life span.

bubba's are all plastic, but they're well insulated. I have a couple of the 52 oz cups. I had an older model that eventually got mold along the seal after a couple years of daily use. I emailed them, sent a couple pictures, and they sent me two new ones at no cost. the newer ones have a better seal design so I'm hoping I won't have repeat issues, but they had great customer service and I love the product.

I have another model of the bubba insulated, 72 oz. holds cold water for a long time. if i leave some ice inside, i will have very cold water by the end of the day, even in very hot days. Very good deal!

most frequent complaint I see is that the lid leaks if you tip it over. others had it leak from the spout which I imagine would be covered by their warranty...

I stopped reading after "You have to clean it after every use because it develops a slimy residue on the inner walls"

Can I use this as an alternative to a keg. Kinda like carefully pour beer into it and use it that way. Is it sealed?

not sure if you're serious, but no. I would think of it like something you'd take to your kids baseball game so you had cold water all day. I wouldn't leave beer in it any longer than a few hours max since you wouldn't add ice.

agreed. I washed my old 52 oz regularly, the mold problem developed because water got trapped beneath the seal. the new design seems much less likely for that to happen.

I have their 24oz units, and they're the best. Changed my life, in that I now have cold water any time of day, no matter how hot it is outside. They're incredible.
