If you like hack and slash games, or loot grinding games, I highly recommend Darksiders. This includes all the DLC, too. Great game for a good price.

Thanks OP. Got darksiders 2. $15 new is the cheapest I've seen it. The first game was absolutely brilliant. Never got to play the second one. Definitely looking forward to it.

I put in over 300 hours. It's lengthy and has great replayability.

Thanks, OP.

Great price and value for Dark Souls 2. I have put over 100 hours into that game.

Going to pick up Darksiders 2. I had it for PS3 but only played a few hours of it and never got to finish it

Is this one as bad as people say? Or does it just happen to be not as good as the others but still a good game? It's really hard to tell based on how people complain about this one.

Dark Souls 2 is not a bad game on its own merit. Its considered a "bad" or the worst game by some Souls players when it is compared to the other Souls games. As a person who has played all the Souls games, I did enjoy the 130 hours for what it was, especially the DLC.

To give you an idea, some of the the shortcomings people vocally have complained when compared to the other games are Soul Memory matchmaking, hit boxes, uninspired bosses, enemy gank squads, disconnected levels ( it doesn't feel interconnected as souls 1 , bloodborne, or to an extent souls 3 ) , hp loss up to 50% after death, also lore wise it had no connection to Souls 1 (it is like a parallel universe), even Dark Souls 3 lore wise continues from Dark Souls 1.

I've never heard anyone say it is "bad" but unfortunately hyperbole is STRONG on the Internet so it wouldn't surprise me.

Let's say Dark Souls 1 is a 9 and Dark Souls 3 is a 10. Some people would flip those numbers, but both are unquestioned great games.

Dark Souls 2 is an 8.5. It's a fantastic game with a ton of replayability. It's not as hard as the first, but still will challenge in parts. It is absolutely irrelevent and useless information when people say "The first one is better". So what? Does that mean you shouldn't ever play a game unless it is better than Dark Souls 1 ?!?! That's crazy. Buy DS2 and enjoy. I have 250 hours into it and have completed it 4 times (so far).
