TRT30 IS coupon code

Usually there is a limit to these, so don't put off too long. Also works well with cash back sites..

Only an OK deal depending on what you need. Last couple times I priced things up even after discount Advance was higher than other retailers.
Just ordered front brakes for my car, calipers pads & rotors. 30% off was still double the price I could get the parts for elsewhere and I got better parts than advance carries.

What places are you speaking of that is cheaper and higher quality even after coupons?

Napa, rockauto, carid, just about everyone.

I have a hard time believing NAPA is 30% lower than advance autos pricing. They may or may not carry better parts but certainly not lower than 30%. Rock Auto may definitely beat everyone, but I prefer to use coupons locally for ease of returns. TRT41 $40 off $100 continues to work at advance which is a great price on parts.

Pricing up new front calipers for my car:
Rockauto: $60 plus core deposit and shipping
CarID: $64 plus core deposit and shipping with free core return shipping. For a name brand reman caliper that is powder coated so it does not rust
Napa: $87 plus core depisit and tax and no need to ship your core anywhere for a high quality fully coated caliper with lifetime warranty
Autozone: $120 plus core deposit and tax for a cheap non-coated caliper that will rust in 2 days
Advance Auto: $120 plus core deposit and tax for a cheap non-coated caliper that will rust in 2 days

So, if you do the math after coupon Advance is about the same price as Napa for an inferior product.
CarID was the best deal. no tax and only $11 shipping for a higher quality, powder coated product.

Yes, I have used calipers, rotors and pads from Advance Auto.

Moving on to rotors, rock auto is $28 for a name brand e-coated rotor that will not rust in 2 days where advance is $45 for a plain blank non-coated rotor that will rust and look bad.

Once you get to pads a good ceramic pad from rockauto will set you back under $30 while advance is $60.

Now, if you get the cheapest rotors you can get from advance and the cheapest pads and use a coupon you will be pretty close in price to rockauto or carid, but you will have inferior products. For calipers even with a coupon advance is higher.

I'm not saying this is not a good deal, but just because Advance offers deep discounts doesn't mean you shouldn't shop around. I've purchased many items from Advance before with coupon. Some things have been good deals, but the more I've shopped actual auto parts wholesalers the less I've used Advance. If I absolutely have to have something right away sometimes Advance works out, but usually Napa is a better deal after you factor in quality of product. IMHO

Depends on what you want, but for calipers Napa Eclipse is fantastic. Good coating, quality and lifetime warranty. After that I would go with either Centric or Cardone.

For rotors, stick with Centric premium or Wagner. Make sure the rotor edges and top hats are e-coated and they will look good for years instead of weeks. They are also quality products that will last a long time. Not the cheapest, but by far the most expensive.

For pads it's hard to go wrong with Wagner Thermoquiet, but powerstop evolution are supposed to be similar and about half the price so that's what I went with this time around.
For spirited driving I'd go with Hawk, EBC or Stoptech

I just wanted to check the actual prices you quoted because you said a caliper is 120, but it shows Advance Autos price is 62.99 without a coupon and includes the bracket. granted it does not have a finish to it, but certainly not $120. Rotors also show a price of 35.09 without a coupon. Also not coated, but not 45. Wagner Thermo quiets start at 51.99 without a coupon. So, if you did separate orders to maximise savings, you could get one caliper and rotor for a hair over $60. Like I said these may not be coated which you want, but the prices you quoted were far off.
