Linksys EA8500 Max-Stream AC2600 MU-MIMO Smart WiFi Router
Price: $69.00 @ Walmart YMMV In Store Only

I went to my local Walmart and seen this router in the clearance section. It did not have a price listed but when i scanned the item, it showed $69

YMMV as i just check brickseek and my local Walmart was the only one offering it at this price. My area code is 94303 if you want to reference it. i took the last one at my store.

Sells for $200+ on Amazon.

Excellent find OP. These are comparable to netgear r7000 in features and functionality.

Two stores in my general area (Seattle) had them, but out of stock. Everywhere else seems to be $139, with low stock.

I have this router. It has gone through a lot of issues with its firmware and from what I've read, the newest firmware has some nasty issues as well so luckily I've been running on an older stable firmware. Just switched over to the Netgear X4S which is just awesome so far. But anyways, if you can find the Linksys at the OPs price, it's a no brained, but at retail price I would look else where

Good deal for those who can replicate. Sadly all sold out in my area. Except the ones who have it for $139. The $69 places are all gone which is sad since I need one of these.

Would it be possible to purchase it at a walmart that has it in stock, and then return/rebuy it at one that has it listed at a lower price?

Essentially, buy it at a location that has it for $139. Then go to a store that is Sold Out, but has the price shown as $69 and then return it, getting your $139 back, and then rebuying it at $69?

There is a Walmart a little drive away that is "Limited Quantity" at this price.
I already have a TM-AC1900 on the way (RT-AC68U). I know this supports faster standards, but reviews are showing this to be pretty lackluster. Is it worth getting this over the TM-AC1900?
