Would you buy a product from a company who's website looks like this?

http://www.gvbtech.net/

Instructions say to visit their site for driver, but none are to be found!

I bought this one 3 months ago. It works totally fine. The instructions are sketchy and it's clearly a Chinese Feiyu knockoff but for half the price it does the job.

I paid about $80 more than this for my Feiyu G4, but I am extremely happy with it. I got a Squaretrade 3 year warranty for about $40. I've used my Feiyu in a fair amount of nasty conditions so far and it's holding up. Although I haven't used this one, just from the look of it there is more exposed wire and it looks more fragile than the Feiyu offerings.

Also, if anyone is looking for a nice inexpensive case for the Feiyu G4, check out Dime Bag Storage. They make padded bags for high end *ahem* "glass art". I have the 10” Duffle Tube (i'm not sure if it will fit this, but as long as they're roughly the same size it will). I saw the recommendation in a youtube video review of the Feiyu and mine fits great so far.

frankly this looks like the g3 from feiyu. BH had a sale on these a couple of months ago and it seems to have gotten fairly decent reviews. i am sure they are a reputable company if B&h is dealing with them.

for 159 its the best deal on a gimbal i have seen since then. i would go for it. i also emailed the company and they responded fairly quickly they are based here in Houston, Tx and they were fairly responsive with call and email.

ask people in the slick deals thread on that if they had a good experience.

It looks identical to the Feiyu 3 axis I had last year. Its an incredibly smooth gimbal. That being said, there's no way to set it down with it on, its fairly loud so forget about recording audio with it. I now use my Typhoon G gimbal which is probably better (although it has trouble with Polar Pro filters) but whisper quiet. This is still a good price for a 3 axis gimbal either way.

The motorized 3-axis stabilizer is powered using three rechargeable batteries, which slot into the handle / Four CR123A batteries and charger included.
What does that even mean? Is it 3 batteries or 4? And why does it use CR123A's? Seems like an odd choice.

Yes it does use 3 batteries but the one i got a few months back had the 4 batteries, who knows why.

And yes the website sucks, i was thinking about updating the drivers with the G4/3? drivers but I was worried about bricking it.

Anyone have any luck?

But overall it works great and I used mine non stop for a few weeks with little to no protection and its holding up.

I got this gimbal from the B&H deal as well. The gimbal works well. It held up while backpacking in Asia for 2 weeks. I had to modified the gimbal so my Xiaomi Yi could fit.

this. I want stable video while mountain biking and if it'll hold on a sturdy bike mount, I'd get it.
