I haven't heard anything. Usually these are announced at least 6 month ahead on head-fi

Hmm would have bought this instead but for $269 more you get hd650. Either way both are good deals.

Do they make amps for Bluetooth headsets or are you just stuck with them all being crap? Was looking at an amp and my cord got ripped out and instantly I was like "but these old headphone style will be obsolete soon" no need to waste money

nope... anything cordless is something compressed or encrypted, so it'll inherently going to bed worse quality..

i have few wireless headphones and i use them all the time for tv watching or talking/etc but when I am listening to music, i use amp/dac as bare minimum

So you are saying all the bt headphones are crap not just the 20$ ones I've tried? They sure make some expensive brand name crap then.

BTW. You know musicians use wireless setups live (what I'm wanting it for partly) and bt supposeedly keeps getting better. But I've not tried any good ones myself to confirm

yes and no. I have a senneheiser momentum 2.0 bt full earcups and I love them. i use them for few things. watching tv (my tv has BT), listening to music from phone when having wired is inconvenient ( i am cooking)

but, they can never replace a wired pair... it's not even close, even if the senneheisers are the best BT i have tried

no way to explain why or how they are better... best triedSmilie

No the real reason is space and weight constraints. AptX does a good enough job of BT streaming, it's the fact that most people don't want headphones that have the added size and weight of one of these bricks.

Also let's be real, this product here is excessive unless you're driving some real expensive headphones. Everyone else with $200 whatevers can get away with any clean amp/DAC combo.

Not sure why they have a picture of every angle except for the side the USB input is... see attached (sorry for the bad pic). And please don't make fun of my AK Jr - I know it's overpriced laugh out loud

I'm not a major audiophile but this thing is awesome... probably powerful enough to drive a truck laugh out loud

Im very unhappy with my wired senheiser momentum coming from some Sony MDR studio. Are the Bluetooth one better? There is no low end on mine and turning bass up does nothing even with a full home amp powering them. (which make them REALLY bad for movies as there are no exciting thuds)

have idsd Wink one of the most powerful dac/amps + tons of controls to satisfy (imho!) all kinds of needs ! neutral - even w/a couple filters engaged (low and 3D - not a big fan of filters!) still produces clean and powerful sound Rock highly recommend !

btw - love the apple connection - ! - you will need to get a camera adapter Wink !
