  • Must have PSN Trophies set to public (You'll need to have played DFS at least once to have it show up on your PSN Trophy list.)
  • Works for those that got the game for free on PS+ back in November.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

It felt really awkward to me on console, wonder if I'd enjoy it more on PC.

The developers have stated that they couldn't update the PSN version but will be releasing a new edition of the game later this year on PC/PSN as a free upgrade with bug fixes, new mechanics and gameplay.

As an apology to the Playstation community, they are giving away free steam keys. It's just the developers way of saying "Sorry for the lack of updates on PSN. Have a free steam key to the PC version while you wait for the Extra Chunky Edition."

The PC version has already been updated with numerous bug fixes and UI improvements that the game has turned into my favorite Rogue like rpg.

Same. The art style and design is so cool, but I don't even understand what kind of game it is...

I got the free PS+ version a couple months ago. Played about 30 minutes worth of it.......this shouldn't even be free. They should be PAYING players to play this.

It seems to be an apology for bad ports to Sony systems. If you haven't played it on a Sony system, you'll have to pay for it via Steam or Humble Store

It's a Rogue-like. Rogue-likes feature procedurally-generated dungeons. Each time you enter a dungeon will be different than the last time you entered. Everything is pseudo-randomly generated, including the level layout, loot types, loot locations, enemy types, enemy locations, environmental hazards (eg: traps), etc. Combat is similar to that of tactical RPGs, such as Final Fantasy Tactics, except combat is not limited to per-battle instances.
You'll especially enjoy Rogue-likes if you enjoy JRPGs, or replaying a game, as Rogue-likes have virtually limitless replayability.

Playing it once so that it will show up on your profile is all that is needed. Unlocking any trophies is not required.

Has anyone received their key yet?

I filled out their form way back when this was posted. No key yet.

I have my trophies set to public and chose to have the code sent to my email.

I got it free from PS+ and played on the PS3.

I really enjoyed the game. I played until the bug that made it nearly impossible to finish the storyline. I am a bit annoyed that I will have to play the entire story over again but meh. I enjoyed it the first time.
