How to Get this Plans If You Need Member+, but Don't Have It?

During certain posted times in this post, this Plan will be available for Member+ subscribers. If you don't have Member+, you would first need to sign up for the Truly Free plan (please see "If You Don't Have a Plan Yet" below.

Member+ Subscriptions:

SAVE 25% OFF the 8 month financing plan!

Lifetime Member+ Financing Add On

The cost is $19.99 for 8 consecutive months. Meaning you have to pay the Lifetime Member+ fee for 8 months in a row to gain Lifetime status. If you don't pay for a month you will lose the Member+ status and your account will be change to the Truly Free 2 plan (from which you may Upgrade to any other plan available at that time).

Short-term Member+ Subscriptions

If you want only short-term auto-renewing Member+ subscriptions (rather than lifetime), you can do that as well at the following rates (please note that you must keep your Member+ subscription to keep the benefits you got with your Member+ subscription, and if you cancel Member+ you will lose the benefits of Member+ including all plans and Add Ons you may have purchased during your Member+ subscription period):

12 months (auto-renewal):

Member+ pricing $99.99 (tax included)*

6 months (auto-renewal):
Member+ pricing $59.99 (tax included)*

3 months (auto-renewal):
Member+ pricing $39.99 (tax included)*

What is Member+?

Member+ is a RingPlus Membership program that gives Members additional benefits. Benefits range from special pricing on wireless services to promotional pricing in the RingPlus store for items sold by sponsors and RingPlus. The subscription is tied to a specific line, and is not transferrable or refundable.

If You Don't Have a Plan Yet

You can sign up for the Truly Free Plan, and add a credit card to your account. When you are signed in to your account, click "Add Ons". In Add Ons, you will see Member+ Add Ons. After you have Member+ you can go to your account and click on "Upgrade Plan". There you can select to change to this Plan.

If You Already Have a RingPlus Plan

When you are signed in to your account, click "Add Ons". In Add Ons, you will see Member+ Add Ons. Select the Member+ subscription you want.

*Please note that Members need to maintain Member+ to keep their Member+ benefits (including these plans and any other Member+ benefits like specially priced data Add Ons). If you no longer have Member+, you will no longer have the benefits of Member+.

For example, let's say someone has Member+, and they got the Eternity Plan. Let's also say that their Member+ subscription expires on the 1st of next month, and they do not renew it. And let's also say that their Eternity Plan expires on the 7th of next month. In such a case, that Member would continue to have the Eternity Plan until the 7th of next month. On the 8th, their account would be automatically changed to the RingPlus default plan currently called Truly Free 2. That Member would then be able to change from Truly Free 2 to any available plan, and they could also subscribe to Member+ again to get access to the plans and benefits exclusively offered to Member+.

Additional Notices and Terms:

Any time during the promo, you may see a message during the sign up process; "We are sorry, but the maximum capacity has been reached please try again within an hour." This means RingPlus had to temporarily close for new subscriptions, and will re-open soon due to the volume we absorbed within that hour.

Limited Availability
*All offers available while supplies last.

Store Purchases
Please note that, except as otherwise stated in this post, buying items in the RingPlus Store will NOT make the purchaser eligible for the offerings in this promotion.

The outlines of this program are shaky and may not work, I'm not going to promise it will, but we could get some free data if it dose.

Memorial Day weekend upgrade - $25 non-M+ upgrade, $10 M+ upgrade, charged to CC. The upgrade does NOT add to your top up balance, but you keep your existing top up balance. You do not have to top up if your balance is over $0.

If you have a top up balance >$0, you do NOT have to top up again until your balance falls to $0.

Swap outs and cancellations have usually been allowing immediate new lines: http://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=83732938&postcount=1271
....Starting new lines immediately from canceled phones may not always work, use placeholder workaround for immediate activation if you run into that issue.
....If you get billing cycle delay, it means until the renewal date on your plan, not a fixed 30 days. Placeholder + swap is quick fix.
....See more on cancellations at bottom of wiki.
No upgrades - New lines only, except for Truly Free 2/3 during the flash or the $35 classified method
.....Downgrades to TF3 are no longer allowed.
M+ is not required during the flash
FED - Many reports are that R+ prepaid phones that have been deactivated are passing FED checks! One iPhone 6s failed FED check May 6. There is no guarantee.
BYOD Your Own Phone - Test Eligibility here: https://ringplus.net/#byosd
Port in is NOT required.
Separate accounts are typically recommended for multiple lines - not locking into a single email address

If you are completely new to R+, have a look at :https://social.ringplus.net/discu...vice?new=1

FED - PLEASE READ ... Important Activation Notice Regarding Prepaid Phones referred to as FED = Financial Eligibility Date https://social.ringplus.net/discu...-phones/p1
As of April 17, 2016, per our carrier partner Sprint, Members and potential Members will no longer be able to activate prepaid devices which are not eligible under Sprint's FED policies (explained below). Such prepaid devices will no longer pass FED until actual eligibility date is met. This is not a new Sprint policy. It is merely a system update to the Sprint system to comply with Sprint's existing FED policies, and to close the gap in the system that allowed such devices to pass FED and be activated on carriers other than those that originally sold the device ("originating carrier").

FED - As of 4/17, in order to activate a Sprint/Boot/Virgin prepaid phone with RingPlus, the phone must have been active with its original carrier for 12 months.

Already activated phones are not affected because they will not trigger an FED check
But if you deactivate a phone, you will trigger an FED check when you (re)activate the phone.
You will no longer be able to activate a new-in-box Sprint/Boost/Virgin prepaid phone (e.g., from Best Buy) with RingPlus.
Upgrading a line to a different plan is NOT an activation, but swapping to an inactive phone will mean an FED check
To date, all R+ phones which have been deactivated are passing the FED check, although this is not guaranteed by policy

Roaming included with M+, Roaming for non-M+ $50+tax
Per minute / per MB charges still apply.
https://social.ringplus.net/discu...t/17213/p1
https://social.ringplus.net/discu...-top-up/p1

FreedomPop phones purchased post FED (04/16/16) must be on FP for a minimum of 6 months before FP will release the ESN.

If you cancel your current line with R+ then you will lose the remaining top-up balance for that line, your phone number, and the phone from the canceled line. Also, in some cases, you will not be able to register a new free line using the phone from the canceled line until the end of the billing cycle (<1 day up to 30 days max), although you can use a placeholder for new registrations and swap in the canceled phone for $1.99 as an easy workaround if that happens. To this point, all deactivated R+ phones have been able to reactivate new R+ plans despite FED policy, although the billing cycle may come into play on occasion. Update: On May 6, someone reported that they deactivated a iPhone 6s from R+, and it would not reactivate. A BYOD check gave the message that it failed FED. This is the only report of a R+ activated phone getting deactivated and then not meeting FED.

Is the following a type? "Port-in an iPhone 6 from T-Mobile, Verizon or AT&T to this plan, and RingPlus will double the Top Up amount required for this plan!" 😂😂😂

AND if you buy a phone from RingPlus, we will give you a Bonus Gift for Dad of adding the price of the phone you bought to the Top Up balance!

For example, if you buy a phone for $49.00 in the RingPlus Store, RingPlus will add the price of the phone to the Top Up balance. So, you (or Dad) will have a Top Up balance of $76.00 to use for overages and other services ($27 + $49 = $76 Top Up balance).

Why is Ring + so popular on Slickdeals? Doesn't it have ads? I can't imagine having to listen to ads before placing a call. That would drive me nuts. What is so great about this service?

it's great because it's free after the initial fees?
Sure, nobody likes ads, but most people would accept ads (short 5-10 sec on average) in exchange for free cell service. If it will drive you nuts, this is not for you.

It's basically free once you pay the initial top-up.

They do have ads, but it isn't 100% ads -- instead of a ring you hear either music or an ad when you place a call. People calling you just hear a regular ring. The also work with some of the VOIP devices, I believe, so you could have the same number at home as well as on your cellphone.

The downside is they're on the Sprint network and may people don't like Sprint's coverage. And because they use Sprint, unlocked GSM phones won't work -- you need a CDMA phone, which basically mean a used/refurbished Sprint/Boost/Virgin Mobile phone or a new iPhone 6, Nexus, or Moto X Pure

Even though all the devices in the store are over priced, however, it is still a great way to top-up over $600 for a decent device, that makes you stick with Ringplus forever.

Is it really that popular? It's been a while since a rp deal has hit the FP. For making these posts, all it takes is a sd username, no sanction needed by sd powers. Although IMO any kind of free monthly cell deal should make it to FP.
As for the ads, I rarely hear one just music mostly. Actually prefer it rather than hearing a ring tone for a few seconds. I do sometimes get dissapointed the person I'm calling picks up right away and interrupts the song on my desired station. laugh out loud
