Best it has been. Cannot beat this price as of now. Could be sold to neighbor or friend for six hundred all day long.

Website says OOS. However, Whittaker has been "pulling" the rifle and then making it available over and over again. This is supposed to be a Father's day Sale, so I expect it to be made available again. Keep checking back.

Really? Even when it could be had for <$550 any day of the week?

Yes. Most people aren't keen on the six hundred average price right now from retailer. It is actually pretty hard to find this under $550 consistently. The last few weeks have shown Whittaker and KyGun under this price but it is not widely known. My FFL can't even get it that cheap on an average day.

I'd be all over this if it was a .223 / 5.56 dual model...but looks like OOS right now anyways.
Great find and great price...total thumbs up!

I think all AR15 that are for 556 can do both 556/223. If not all of them, maybe one of two really weird and specialized AR15s cannot do both. Sometimes websites list AR15s as 556 or as 556/223 even though they are all 556/223.

It is the other way around you need to look out for, if a rifle is listed as 223 only, then it cannot do 556. But I don't think there are AR15s in 223 only.

buy these up folks. let freedom ring

the M&P15 Sport is an excellent value priced AR. i have the Sport I. nothing but good things to say about it. in fact, i also have a M&P15-22 in which i have configured the 2 to have identical furniture so the 15-22 is a trainer for the 15.

it's amazing to see how much these are dropping in price. i thought $499 shipped back in Nov for the Sport I on clearance was a good deal from Gunbuyer.com. i would have gladly paid an extra $13 to have DC and FA, just for the sake of having them. oh well. i'm not about to buy a 3rd assembled AR lol...next AR will be custom

It says to clean before using it the first time. Can anyone recommend a cleaning kit? Thanks!

Illegal to purchase, sell or manufacture magazines with a capacity of greater than 10 rounds within Maryland. However, possession of magazines greater than 10 rounds is legal if purchased out of state. These may not, however, be transferred to a subsequent owner unless done so outside the state of Maryland.
