I was in the market for one of these for camping this summer and thought this was a pretty good deal. Great reviews and just 14c from the lowest price according to the 3 wise camels.

Light Up & Charge Up

Confidently go camping, hiking, or prepare for an emergency with dependable and rechargeable brightness. 15 bright white LED bulbs power this 180 Lumen camping light. The omnidirectional light make this outdoor light perfect for illuminating patios, campgrounds, and much more. The lantern features bright, dim, red and red flashing lighting. Use the lantern to cozy up to a good read late at night, or to brighten your campsite. When there's an emergency, the red lantern light offers easy visual alerting from far distances.

The rechargeable battery pack acts as a power bank for your devices. While you charge a device, the lantern uses the internal AA batteries to power the lantern light itself. With each feature having its own source of power, you no longer have to worry about charging time cutting into lighting time, or vice versa. With a micro USB cable, you're able to conveniently charge up phones, tablets, cameras, and other devices you need without the need of an outlet. When power is out, just replace or recharge the power bank batteries using the included micro USB cable by connecting it to a powered wall outlet or power strip. When the AA battery power runs low, the lantern will automatically run on reserve power from the power bank batteries, so you're never left in the dark.

The lantern is also designed with IPX5 water resistant durability to withstand rugged travels in harsh weathers. Whether used for outdoor adventures, or as a handy addition to your household emergency kit, this power bank lantern has the ability to meet all of your lighting needs with simplicity and convenience.

Seems like a good deal. Gets an "A" on FakeSpot [fakespot.com] and almost the historical low on CamelCamelCamel.

I like that the 18650s are replaceable. More companies need to do that.

Yeah that's another thing I liked about this lantern. I'll be carrying extras with me in my camping trip.

That is surprising. This was recently flooding the etek citizen program, so I have to assume most of the reviews were on free items.

Nice find OP. And good points Brokt and Strmtrpr re: credible reviews and the advantages inherent in user-replaceable 18650 batteries. TU and reps all around.

The lantern requires three AA batteries for it's power supply. Their is no charging system on the unit.

It comes with 2x 18650s and they can be charged by the lantern and the lantern has an output to charge phones, etc. The AAs are just in addition.

However, I do believe you can't charge a device and have the lantern on at the same time without two power sources.

Not sure what you're talking about.

EDIT: Never mind Strmtrper, I re-read your post and see you understood that.

I really need to stop participating in this thread. I have plenty of battery powered LED lanterns and certainly don't need another. Must resist ...

How does it compare to this one? https://www.amazon.com/Lantern-AG...BFDS2RG0C5

So this uses two 18650 batteries? I remember a few years back that using more than one 18650 battery in a flashlight setup was unsafe when one of the members had the unit explode on them.

That thread no longer has any pics but it's the one thread that stopped me from purchasing the dual 18650 flashlights back then. Oddly enough, a single 18650 doesn't pose this type of risk. Something to do with batteries being overcharged or one being undercharged.
