I got 10% bonus FoodPerks after watching the whole video. You can also refer friends for extra bonus.

Must have your advantage card number to register.

http://www.get-go.com/Article.aspx?cntid=197275

foodperks!™ Promotional Terms & Conditions
A Giant Eagle Advantage Card® is required to participate. Limit one foodperks!™ discount reward per household. Households that have previously received a foodperks!™ reward are ineligible for additional foodperks!™ discount rewards. Tell-a-Friend rewards are applied to your Giant Eagle Advantage Card® when your referred Friend visits foodperks.com and watches the foodperks!™ video to completion. Tell-a-Friend rewards are based on availability and are subject to change. Giant Eagle® reserves the right to discontinue the reward and this promotion at any time. foodperks!™ rewards will expire three months after the last day of the month in which they’re earned. Limit one foodperks!™ coffee reward per household. Rewards for a free 12 oz. cup of GetGo® coffee expire 14 days from the date loaded on to the Giant Eagle Advantage Card® and is redeemable only at participating GetGo® locations. foodperks!™ discounts are redeemable at participating Giant Eagle®, Market District® and Giant Eagle Express® stores only. foodperks!™ discounts are applied to net purchases after all other discounts (coupons, Giant Eagle Advantage Card® discounts, etc.). Rewards have no cash value.

foodperks!™ is a program much like fuelperks!®, except it allows you to earn discounts on grocery purchases at Giant Eagle® by pumping gas at GetGo®. For every 10 gallons of fuel you pump, you earn a 1% discount on a future visit to Giant Eagle®!
All pumped gallons qualify toward foodperks!™ discounts, including gallons you pump with your fuelperks!® discounts.

In fact, by combining your foodperks!™ and fuelperks!® discounts, you can maximize your savings on both fuel and food.

Every ounce of fuel you pump counts. When you pump fuel in an amount less than 10 gallons, this amount is counted toward discounts earned the next time you pump fuel. If you pump more than 10 gallons, but fewer than 20, you will immediately earn your 1% discount, and the balance will be held over toward your next fill-up.

We keep track for you. Like fuelperks!®, you can find how much of a foodperks!™ discount you’ve earned and how many gallons you have pumped toward your next discount on your participating Giant Eagle® or GetGo® receipt.

Your discounts expire three months after the last day of the month in which they are earned (for example, discounts earned in February 2010 expire on May 31, 2010). Your receipt tells you if any of your discounts expire at the end of the current month.

When you check out at Giant Eagle®, Giant Eagle Express® or Market District®, you’ll be asked if you want to use your foodperks!™ or save them for a future visit. If you choose to use your foodperks!™, your discount will be calculated after all other reductions (coupons, Giant Eagle Advantage Card® discounts, etc.) are made.

Your maximum redeemable discount is 20%. Discounts may only be redeemed on any single transaction totaling no more than $300 in qualified items after coupons and Giant Eagle Advantage Card® discounts are applied. Any remaining percentage in excess of 20% may be used on a future shopping trip. The larger your shopping order, the more you save. foodperks!™ discounts cannot be applied toward the purchase of gift cards.

You cannot transfer foodperks!™ discounts to another Giant Eagle Advantage Card® account.

If you have any other questions about foodperks!™, please read the Official Rules and Regulations or call 1-800-553-2324.

The Sunday Butler Eagle has a coupon on page A10, save $10 on a $50 purchase. Exp 1/2/13. Excludes the usual scripts, tobacco, milk, gift cards, etc.
The P&G q's are in this paper too.

Might want to check your local paper if you have a GE in the area.

over Christmas, I was using the $5/30 Target Q along with the bottom dollar$10 Q and surprisingly had no issues. The cashiers have a barcode at their registers they scan and enter the coupon. I think last week I saw Om lunchables for $1 and wanted to try the TQ for $1/1 lunchable, but never made it there (d/t target and CVS clearance LMAO).

Has anyone tried using the TQs on specific items like this and do they limit you?

I've used the Target q's on individual items and the only limit that I know of is the 12 per day or whatever. I used 12 in one transaction and didn't have any issues, but they were from an insert not an ip, so I don't know if that helped. Dontknow I think the Target ip's say limit one or something now so ymmv----choose your cashier wisely. Smilie

Is this the only Giant Eagle thread? I haven't been on in awhile, but I remember there used to be weekly matchups. Can anyone point me in that direction?

Thanks!!!

This is it.

There's not as much to match up anymore, but I bet if we started getting active here with our knowledge of the competitor coupons we could make some pretty sweet matches. I did the .01 3lb bags of Cat Chow awhile back and there have been random freebies with the RA in-ad coupons. I don't know how many people visit here. Dontknow

It's been awhile I shopped at GE. So now they are accepting competitor's Qs? Great. Are there any restrictions on what kind of coupons we can use? Like %off or $ off or only item specific Qs?

I can only speak for my stores. There's a policy, but we know different SM's can see it different. At my stores, no %, but they will accept $/$$ from like Dollar General/Target/etc... So if you use the $5/$25 for Dollar General and have a friendly store than you might be able to use individual competitor coupons or the store might refuse them. I try to keep them small and simple.

You might want to start with the coupon policy/competitor coupon policy, but you'll still have to find out how your stores really are. So far I've been impressed, but just can't find enough hours in the day to add them into my weekly shopping pattern, but for the great deals like .01 cat food---I make the time. Smilie

You still need to adhere to the 12 like coupons, no ip's over $5, etc.......unless of course your store has different rules.

I think many of us stooped shopping at GE since we got better deals elsewhere. I remember the free HN hot dogs and many other great deals in the past. The prices are so high at GE, it was not worth shopping even with Qs. I shop at the Boardman-Poland GE and they were nasty when it came to coupons. I had a coordinator grab a rain check from my hand and said the manager wrote it up wrong shake head I took my business elsewhere. I recently started using competitors coupons- had a $5/any Tide HE Q from Lowes and no one knew what to do - could it be used..blah blah blah; however the new manager was great and said absolutely it's Ok. so slowly- starting back up..but cherry picking for now

I have been using the bottom dollar $10 Qs and combining with target Q x/xx. Be on the lookout - just received a $5 /25 mailer q from save-A-lot.

Betty Crocker fruit snacks are 4/8.00 get and instant $4.00 off. Use two .75 off of 2 coupons from last week and they net out to 4/1.00. You can do multiples in one order.

Where is the Bottom Dollar q from? Is there a new Target $/$$? The one I had expired Christmas Eve I believe.

I definitely cherry pick the deals. Like the Reach toothbrushes in the summer. Whee Best GE mm ever----even better tha the $4 Sinex deals of 2-3 years ago.

It probably would be good to start using this thread a bit because the competitor coupons really open the door to deals we haven't had in the past 12-18 months. At first not all stores participated, but now I believe it's supposed to be all of them. (ymmv at independents)
