Good saw, currently selling for $95. Amazon is running a $20 off $100 with this model, so add a $5 Dewalt filler (I chose the reciprocating blades to match) and get it for $80 + tax.

Discount applies automatically in your cart.

Nice price, good tool. I recently switched from the regular shaped 20v recip saw and it does feel a little less clumsy to operate. The kit with a battery and charger at Home Depot comes with a ToughSystem case and a form fitting insert for it, which was nice and I haven't seen it advertised, but that's $200.

title says recip-saw w/tool. I don't see any tool other than the recip-saw. I see blades, but those are blades, not tools. Maybe OP meant to say w/blade purchase?

Am I understanding correctly that this is a bare tool and does NOT actually come with the 20v battery? I have two 20v Dewalt batteries already so it's not an issue, but just asking for clarity. Thanks!

Correct. "Bare tool" comes with no battery.

Adding Bare to the title or OP would be helpful.

My order already shipped, so I guess Amazon found some. (Or some of you canceled) I was going to 'float' it thinking I had more time to decide, but I guess I will keep it.

I watched some videos, and I like the size and 4-way mount on the head for blades.
