First post ever on SD. Pardon if this is a repost.

WD 1 TB for Mac is down to $17 at Walmart in store only clearance. I got one yesterday. If you are a PC user you can format this. This deal is extremely YMMV. Look in Walmart App for stock.

MSRP $69
clearance price $17
Item # 44786205

You may be able to price-match at BB if it's showing in stock at local Walmart. Hope you snatch one. Again YMMV!

Can you really use Brickseek to pricematch at Best Buy? There is a store showing stock, but I remember hitting this store up a few weeks ago and not seeing this HDD.

This hasn't been reposted many times. Most stores are out at this point or never had any to begin with

Can someone tell me how brickseek works? Do these stores actually give the public access to their inventory systems?

Where do you usually find these? On their regular shelves or a clearance designated space? TIA.

Normally in the regular area but they can be where the clearance items are also.

STEPS:
1. Walmart APP. Download it.
2. Make sure the App has access to GPS/Location tracking.
3. Search for an item and pull it up. Price will be MSRP.
4. Now on the top, select "AT YOUR STORE"
5. You will notice that the price *YMMV will reduce to the clearance price.
6. Rinse and Repeat at other stores near you to determine if the item is in stock. Go to that store and ask the Electronics Dept Associate to find that item for you.
7. If its not on the floor, tell them to look in the back (usually they have it locked away - like cell phones and stuff). A good associate will be always willing to go and look.
8. Good luck and hope you score.

Thank you to both. I repped you.

I hate going around aimlessly at Walmart so it helps to know where to search.

Got 2 earlier this week - one "straight", one through return-rebuy.
It's a very nice drive - don't get confused with its "For Mac" designation - it takes 5 minutes and a freeware tool like MiniTool Partition Wizard Free to make it work under any system (Windows, Linux etc.). If I find more, I'll grab more Smilie
