I don't think there is. The cheapest I saw on Amazon.com was $7.99. For that price I will rather get the 9 ft on sale now.

Thanks, got 3ft and 9ft lightning cables.

Has anyone had luck with using micro-usb to lightning converter tips? I've read a number of reviews, and it kind of scares me away... but, somehow my microusb cables last longer than my lightning ones, so I'm wondering if using a converter tip (like the Mophie battery cases have) would save money

Edit:

Went ahead and ordered two of these AmazonBasics microusb to lightning converters also: https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasi...B00M4QANB4

I have never used them, but if they aren't MFi Certified, stay clear. If they are, make sure it's a reputable seller to avoid counterfeits. (Same advice for any regular Lightning cable).

Based on a quick glance, the legit adapters cost the same as a good 6' Anker cable, or a slightly higher end 3' Anker "Powerline" lightning cable. Also - buying through AnkerDirect on Amazon ensures you aren't getting a knock-off cable, which is an ongoing problem for a lot of cables and adapters. (And Anker has a 18 month warranty - I had to contact Anker support once for one of their chargers - it turned out it was not the Anker product with the problem, but before I realized that they were very responsive to my query and ready to provide a replacement.)

Thanks, I'm attempting to cancel that converter order after-all.

Judging from some reviews, I'll probably lose the converter because it's so small. Didn't realize Anker had such a good return policy... the cables should suffice then. Repped for your help.

The ccc price tracker says that the 9ft cable was $4.99 just a week ago. So if you buy this now, you might want to keep an eye on the price, because the price might drop again after the "sale" is over.
