The Roomba 860 is going on sale everywhere for $450 but Target has an additional 10% off when selecting order pickup in store (auto applied in cart).

http://www.target.com/p/irobot-ro...A-50764909

Comes out to be $404.99 before tax (if applicable for your state).

Can get a bit more discount if you do cashback and/or have a Red card.

-------------

Alternatively, if you have a Lowe's moving 10% coupon, roughly the same deal ($405 after sale and 10% moving coupon) but can get it shipped rather than store pickup.

I think these things are cool but I can't imagine anyone paying that much for one. They would be worth buying for $100-150.

My Dyson was $300. My Roomba was $300 also and since the purchase I haven't needed to use the Dyson at all. With 2 dogs, 11 month old, and a full time job it is hard to have everything cleaned. Now all I have to do is empty out the canister twice a day to have it clean up everything twice a day. These are killer and I would easily purchase another (more expensive) model.

Agreed...I finally bought one when they were $350 at JC Penny and we couldn't be happier. Clean it out once a day and our house always looks brand new.

Fry's has it for $400 every once in a while with the email promo codes. They also have tax rebate promo. We got one a few weeks ago to pick up the cat hair, and couldn't be happier with it.

Definitely worth the buy for me. I am in my mid twenties and I live alone in a one bedroom apartment. I bought the Roomba almost a year ago now and I am very happy with it.

Sucks for you, I couldn't imagine not having one. My floors are spotless every day.

Fry's does actually have it for $399 currently, with the current week's email promo code (for the week of 6/12 - 6/18). In-store pickup only, though.

Anyone know what the difference between the 860 and 870 are besides the extra virtual wall?

Here's what someone said in the 870 thread:

Does it actually clean the floor i.e mop the floor as we have hardwood floors and no pets but usually have to mop cause of kids playing around
