Looks like a pretty good deal to me for a laptop capable of low-end gaming.

Intel Core i7-6700HQ Processor 2.6GHz
Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit
8GB DDR4 Onboard RAM
1TB 5,400RPM Hard Drive
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M 2GB GDDR5
8x Super Multi with Double Layer Drive
Secure Digital Card Reader
10/100/1000 Network
802.11ac Wireless
Bluetooth 4.0
15.6" HD LED-backlit Anti Glare Display

Also, includes $100 in credits towards gaming for: Warframe and World of Warships ($50 for each game).

Just a heads up, even though this is a 6th generation I7 processor, it is slower than the 4th generation 4710HQ and 4720HQ I7 processors that are found in gaming laptops around this price point

Curious. How is it slower? The benchmark numbers look about the same.

Curious as to which benchmark site you are using. cpubenchmark.net shows a significant difference between these procs. 7852 and 8075 for the 4710HQ and 4710 HQ respectively, vs 4329 for the Core i7-6500U in this laptop. Just curious if there's a site that offers a better representation of benchmarking.

No. This is NOT the mid range U series. This is the mobile desktop replacement like the 4710HQ.. just 2 generations newer (14nm vs 22nm).

It depends on which benchmarks are being used / which benchmark site

I've been searching for a week. This is the best price you will get on a dedicated gfx card laptop. The reviews are great from everywhere I've checked. I'm biting!
