Support the stores that bring you the deals (Target in this case)... not the ones that glomm onto them afterwards and then stop offering the deal (Dead @ Amazon).

DVD quality vs Blu-ray quality is enough for me.. and I think you are wrong about 720p vs 1080p... DVD are 480i and can be up converted to 720p... but still truly 480i..
The disks should qualify for disc to digital through Vudu. So for an extra $2 a disc (or $1 if you're converting 10 or more) you can get the Ultraviolet copies.

- One disk per movie
- Extremely simple packaging
- Same special features as the DVDs for each of the movies
- No special use of Blu-Ray's features except 1080 from 480 on the DVDs.
- No Ultraviolet or similar.

I'm going to pass for now, as these don't offer enough 'value' over straight DVDs and we can play/rip DVDs more easily. Still a hot deal however for three Blu-Ray movies.

Yeah, I was gonna say... Is there even a single DVD in existence that has 720p?

I've been a die hard Chromecast user since it launched. so now I've become a fan of digital ownership and streaming, so I only buy discs if they include an ultraviolet code because I don't care about physical media anymore. I may be a SDer, but I'd rather pay $10 for digital than $5 for a disc, just don't tell the movie companies.

They were around when Austin Powers 2 and 3 hit theaters as well, there was simply no Facebook or Twitter to express the same level of outrage as there is today.

Love the original Austin Powers flick, never cared for the other two, still a solid deal for $9.

They are triggered by the fact that you are triggered.
