The card is UHS-I Speed Class 1 (U1) & Class 10 (80MB read/20MB write) about the same specs as the EVO+ - should be plenty fast for 1080 video. 4K video needs UHS-I Speed Class 3 (U3) & Class 10 which this card is not.

Same specs as the Evo+. So why would Samsung create the Evo Select line?

EVO + is for the Photo Channel only. You are only allowed to carry it if you sell over a certain amount of revenue in digital cameras/camcorders as a retailer.

My guess is that EVO Select will be something carried by all retailers, including those who aren't able to buy EVO + currently. It's really nothing to them... probably the same card with a different paint job.

It's their new generation of cards, there is an EVO Pro Select now as well to replace the Evo+.

The EVO+ is available to consumers. There's an EVO PRO Select now.

I was looking at 128 gb version of this for the bogo s7 edges I picked up. for 39.99 each do you guys think it will be ok for the phones, like speed wise?
