Apple Macbook Pro 15" Retina, Refurbished for $1386 +tax @Bestbuy.com, Not available in store, but can be shipped to store. This is the lowest i have seen so far for latest model. New ones are going to be available soon, but if someone really looking to get one sooner and don't mind refurbished, this is a great deal.

Unfortunately, Student discount does not work with refurbished, but its cheaper than buying open box and applying $100 student discount.

I cannot believe how expensive this is! The Dell 7559 with better everything except screen and build quality (although still good specs for both) is almost HALF the price of this refurbished item!

Thinking performance "specs" are still differentiators 😂

Thanks for the Input. Does the Dell run OSX?? The biggest difference between both is the Operating system.

This does seem look like a good deal, thanks OP! Unfortunately I need a macbook over the next couple weeks for a course and waiting around for Apple to tell us wtf is up with the new macbooks is starting to not be an option.

My main concern is the one-year warranty - on my last macbook my Amex extended warranty saved me a $600 repair to the motherboard only 18 months after I bought it brand new. I just checked and Amex's extended warranty only applies to manufacturer warranties so after one year I'd be on my own.

Although I could probably just resell it on ebay for not much less than this anyways...

Will do, lets get your stock from 98 to 100 that 2% gain should work wonders for you because clearly sales of MacBooks at a Bestbuy store will move your stock so dramatically. To compare I'd still pick an Audi over Nissan since those who buy higher end are sheep, I'll be a sheep any day

I dunno about these refurbs, the bestbuy iMac refurbs have VERY poor reviews.

I would not want a display item(if thats what this is) in any case since literally everyone and their mom has abused it at the store.

Also, the warranty on this is going to be whatevers left of the initial 1 year warranty.

Lol you serious? Of course Dell computers don't run macOS.
