Not the greatest deal out there, but pretty darn good for 9mm range ammo shipped.

http://www.cabelas.com/product/wi...9mm%2Bammo

Cabela's has Winchester white box 115 grain FMJ 9mm ammo for $22.09 per 100 round box.

Free shipping on all orders over $99 with coupon code 6DADSDAY.

I wound up using the discounted Cabelas gift cards that were on SlickDeals last week to get my ammo for 16.8 cents/round shipped.

I used all of my Cabelas gift cards already on 9MM over a month ago, otherwise I would be on this one.

Save your money/gift cards for a better quality ammo. This stuff isn't junk but at this price you can do better. This is the only ammo that I have found that I'll get failures with.

I've used Winchester white box for quite a while and have never had issues with it....this comes out cheaper than getting it at Walmart too so good deal. (Walmart wants $26/100+tax)

I would not recommend perfecta as I've had quite a few not fire or bad primer, even had some with bad powder (bullet came out due to primer, but powder didn't burn)...on both 9mm & 223.

Then perhaps you'll be at least briefly relieved to learn that this caliber ammo is far larger than AR-15 ammo, which was NOT used in any recent mass US shootings.

The military has FAR more dangerous weapons - even more than the average police station.

Direct your fears to where it can make the greatest difference: fighting mass ignorance.

Every box I purchased from Walmart of this stuff always has about 3% failure rate for me. Between my/friends we have tried in XDM, PPQ and 9mm carbine that all eat pretty much any ammo. In my friends Taurus this will fail about 10%.

Thanks for letting me know! It's really interesting what can happen when you allow yourself to speak accurately about how you feel.

I fight ignorance all the time. But ... trying to fight it without making people defensive is a challenge.

To the "other side," being defensive comes across as offensive. (After all, even certain blowhard politicians are just being defensive and ignorant. Oops, that was probably too off-topic. Oh well.)
