Android, open Amazon links in Amazon in-app?

JuanelS 29 10 June 15, 2016 at 07:56 AM
Android, how can I make Amazon links in SD to open in-app instead of the browser instead? This happens all the time. And it's only for Amazon links!

Do you have a Samsung device? Let me know what device you are using and I will follow up with additional info.

Wondering if the Amazon app you have installed is their most recent update. Earlier versions did not support deep linking. If you are on Android 6.0, this may be the cause for which we will have a fix in our next release, coming very shortly. If after our next release (likely this week) you still are having this issue, we will continue to investigate. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for reporting!

same problem on the s7 edge. i reset the default app, but when i clicked an amazon link, it only gave chrome or browser as options. there wasnt a simple fix in the "set as default app" in settings.
