It's basically like a swiss army knife, but with many keys instead of other tools

I don't know about this model, but I had the original and used it for about a year before going back to a regular key ring. It looks good on paper, but if you have fat keys or weird keys, they have trouble fitting in it, unless you use a lot of spacers. I could only fit 4 in mine, when I should have been able to fit more. Even with 4 in it, it was a bit bulky. Then you have to fold the key out to see which one it is, then fold it back in after determining it's the wrong one. Then as you drive around, you have a gargantuan rectangular block of keys banging around under the steering column. Didn't seem to add any convenience for me.

Amazon shows that there's a bunch of reviewers that say it breaks easily. I made a DIY version for about $8. YouTube video (Mini MOD Monday: DIY Folding Key Tool by MOD). Personally it doesn't look as good as the keysmart (Keysmart is more modern while this one is more industrial) but it gets the job done.

It's for people who hate the slimness of a couple keys on their car keys and would rather carry around another FOB-sized item to put keys in. Could never figure this out for anyone other than a landlord (but even then how often do you go into the rentals?)

For anyone else, there should be no more than two keys on your keychain....lowes or Home Depot will rekey your locks for like $5. Much better deal imho...I have two homes, two sheds, a separate garage and have two keys (only because 2nd home is a duplex and I rent occasionally). I would easily spend $100 on a new lockset(s) rather than add any additional bulk to something I carry with me 90% of the time.

Oh, and if anyone is wondering why this made frontpage so fast...it's daily steals, they're very closely affiliated with slickdeals (i.e. pay a high commission)
