Amazon Prime is not needed for this particular deal, but Amazon is currently running a couple of promotions for Prime:

Searched and didn't find this posted.

Amazon had a massive price drop on the True Lemon Bulk Pack 500 count. This is close to the lowest ever on CCC ($20.22). With my 15% Subscribe and Save, this came to $17.85 for me. It would be $19.95 with only a 5% S&S (still a good price).

To each his/her own. I got the 500 pack of the True Lime and fell in love with it. OF COURSE fresh is better, that's not the point of this deal, but this gets points for convenience and versatility. When I am at work, I don't always have access to fresh lemons, a knife, and cutting board. 500 packets is equivalent to about 83 lemons or about $0.20 per lemon. 8 packets rehydrates to 1/4 cup of lemon juice for recipes.

That is too funny. I was just looking at the true orange one last night and thought "I haven't seen these posted on SD in awhile."

To each his/her own, but just because you don't like something does not make the deal inherently "not slick." That's not how this site works. I don't use Apple products, but I would still consider $100 for a brand new Ipad "slick."

500 packets is equivalent to about 83 lemons or about $0.20 per lemon. Lemme know when you find that price for fresh lemons year-round. shake head
Sorry I was not clear, I was referring to my preference of using "freshly squeezed lemons" as "not slick" heart

Ah, I see. Being stuck in the Upper Midwest, I feel the same. Fresh lemons are just starting to come down in price to about 2/$1. This winter they were around $1.29 each!

These are great to have around. You can reconstitute these in a bit of water and use in place of fresh lemon juice in recipes. Also makes a great addition to marinades.

The True Lime is the best flavor (closest to fresh squeezed), the lemon is a close second. The orange is just ok (that coming from someone who's favorite flavor is orange), but I think it is because the expectation for orange is that it will be sweet, while the expectation for the others is sour.

I usually put a few drops of McCormick's lemon extract in my water. An 8 ounce bottle lasts me almost a year. But I'll give these a shot.

Just note, they don't last forever in the packets. I have some from a while back and most of them are now hardened/crystallized. 500 packets would take quite a while to use up.
