Is it worth it to buy a 34" monitor but only 1080p?

Not to me. Everything looked very pixelated to me on a 27" screen at 1080p. Couldn't imagine on a 34" one.

Try playing something other than Minecraft and it won't look pixelated.

Your pretty off base.. The pixel size on this is smaller then a traditional 27 inch since it's a 21:9. If I remember right it's closer to that of a 24 or 25".

I have one of the versions of this with the same resolution and the 25 inch version as well. I couldn't see buying another 16:9 after being on 21:9.

Hmm... I did a comparison and it appears like the 29" is similar in height to the regular 27" and the 34" is similar to the regular 32".

Good one. Not sure what these people complaining about. I have a Samsung 32 inch full array TV that I use as my PC monitor at 1080p. I don't see any pixels. :S

34''(2560x1080) = 81.72 PPI(31.33" x 13.22")
27''(1920x1080) = 81.59 PPI(23.53" x 13.24")

I've worked with both 29 and the 34 inch ultrawide monitors. At 1080p, the 34 is just plain too big. If you like having the pixel density of a 24 inch screen and need an ultrawide display, go for a 29". If your graphics (and budget) can handle it and you need a 34" I would go for a 1440p ultrawide
