I hope no one buys this. Suck-ass batteries.

And if you do, please recycle the batteries at a RadioShack or something. Don't throw them in the trash.

I actually disagree - I think these batteries are fantastic. They perform just as well for my electronic keypad door compared to the Duracell brand; they deliver enough power and last just as long.

Which one of you two is right about these batteries, and why?

I'm worried mostly about shelf life. The Toys 'R Us alkaline AA batteries didn't last as long in storage as Duracell, Rayovac, Energizer, etc.

In store they were marked $8.99, but were $6.99 at the register. For $0.15 ea, you can't go too far wrong. These are alkaline cells, not "heavy duty" Carbon Zinc.

There is a small date imprinted on the silver top band of the batteries. Mine were 01-2019.
