If it's truly unlocked, how will FED, FED, FED stop you to use any carrier you want if and only if it's truly unlocked?

I doubt it's unlocked though.

Edit:

No contact phone does not mean it's unlocked. I think the OP is confused.

So I got one of these phone last year and have it on RingPlus (before FED check started). The screen recently cracked but still functions and is still active on RingPlus. My question to anyone who tinkers with phones...would it be possible to buy a new phone and swap the cracked screen from that to the one that's active on RingPlus? My skills aren't great, but I'd be willing to give it a try if it's possible...

You need an unlocked or post paid phone to swap since the FED have enforced the prepaid rule of 12 months of services from the original provider before you use it for another carrier.

Yes. See if you can find a video, and may take a certain set of screw drivers. I don't know what that answer above me is rambling about

VM phones are NOT unlocked, maybe after 12 months of continuous service.

You can just replace the cracked screen with parts from new phone.

On BB Website, Where does it say that the phone is "Unlocked?"

It only says that "No-Contract" is required.

"No-Contract" does not mean "Un-Locked."

Thanks.

I think you meant this for the OP?. My comment was in reply to his/her claim of "unlocked"
