With the money saved, just take it to an Apple Store, get it certified and pay $50 bucks for an AppleCare+ warranty:

I've been watching these for a while, and this is the lowest price on a refurb in a long time. If I'm not mistaken, the $174 price was for used models on cowboom. Call it what you will - but this is a great deal for anyone looking for this model right now. My refurb arrived looking brand new - very happy with this for the price paid.
Jesus, the Apple Watch has outsold both the 1st gen iPhone and ipad and it's a bust? And I'd guess >50% market share while being about 2 years late to the market is just horrible results....good luck getting a new one for 200, maybe an unopened one on Craigslist in 5 years. Stop being such a hater and go back to your android forums.

Not a bad deal but I'd prefer to pay $299 for a new one with a full warranty. Refurbished have 90 day warranty.

In for one as a belated birthday present! This deal is way better than anything used and for those wondering what Geed Squad refurbished means:

Quote :
Occasionally, technology misbehaves right out of the box or becomes defective over time. Other products work as expected, but need some sprucing up (such as a new screen, battery or casing). Refurbished products are repaired and restored to a like-new state, either by one of Best Buy's in-house repair centers, the manufacturer or a third-party refurbishment company. They are verified to work properly and include all parts and accessories (original or comparable substitutes). All refurbished products sold by Best Buy also include a warranty — ranging from 90 days to 1 year — and Best Buy's Return & Exchange Promise applies.

Chose the Fitbit Blaze over this. I would've wanted an Apple Watch if 1) the heart rate monitor was on all the time and 2) if the battery life lasted longer than about a day so it could track sleep patterns.

Tempted but I am wondering when the 2nd will come out also... Could possibly be when iPhone 7 releases in 3 months. Hopefully it's water resistant/proof

How do you like your Blaze? For example accuracy....I'm looking into to getting either of these, my main concern is fitness related things..

I did a bunch of research for the Blaze vs. Apple Watch and I actually really like my Blaze. I even disagree with the complaints about the aesthetics of it. It's thinner and sleeker than I thought. My only complaint with it would be like others have said, to charge it you have to take the device out of the wrist band and use this little charging box. It's kind of weird but it's really not that big of a hassle. Otherwise the device is great and is pretty accurate having had it now for about a month. The text notifications and music control function is really convenient too.

Seeing as what a bust the Apple Watch is (Apple still refusing to give out sales figures is a very bad sign), I still see am MSRP of $199 or lower in the future.
