Holy moly, y'all! We're totally slacking off over here! I guess the new coupon policy put us all in a funk.... here's some goodies from a local blog that I found useful:

Ken's salad dressing -- $1 each.
$1 MQ 1/13 SS
= free

Poise feminine hygiene towelettes -- $2.97 each
$3 MQ 2/10 SS = free
or $5/2 YQ = $0.47/ea
*if you have CVS, check out their IP making them free or better

Thanks for the HU on the kens salad dressing, picked up 14 today. Everytime I saw a B coupon I was so sad.

Not much happening at my HEB

MAKE SURE YOU KNOW if/when new HEBs are opening in your area. My BFF and I were VERY lucky when the newest HEB opened up and the OLD one closed. All perishables were 50% off the day of closing. This was a couple of weeks ago now. People went NUTS over the meat section, we didn't do to bad there either The dairy was great as were frozen foods. Anyhow, keep your ears to the ground on this one .

I figured the P&G cats would still be a good deal even thought the stacking ended.

Unfortunately I think my days of P&G cats at HEB are over based on my trnxs yesterday. I had some of the $5 off of $15 cats from the J&J deal a few weeks ago. I had a little over $15.00 in my trnx and gave the $5 off of $15 which deducted $5.00. The cashier started scanning my other coupons. As soon as the total dropped below $15.00 the register kicked out my $5 off of $15 coupon. This happened on each trxn. He went ahead and keyed in the $5.00 as a mfg coupon though so it worked out well.

Based on this it looks like we may not be able to use a $xx off of $xx along with mfg coupons to get a low OOP.

Same thing happened to me-nice cashier keyed them in for me. I will miss the cat deals at HEB.

I wonder if adding gift cards and rolling them though would still work to assure balance is above the spend threshold

Good point ! Hum...may have to give that a try but it's hard to know ahead of time.

I wonder though if it will be the same way on getting the cat initially. Hopefully we don' t have to actually PAY $30.00 for P&G items to get the cat.

I got a $3.00 overage on scrabble score pads using the $4/1 ip . They beeped on the scrabble card game but no problems with the score pads.

Heard about this on Klove yesterday... recall on Central Market Organic Spinach. I had actually bought this particular batch and had eaten most of it before I heard. My dd and I have been out sick this week. Hopefully this prevents anyone else from getting sick!
