Official HEB coupon policy, from their website:

At H-E-B, we know how important it is for you to maximize every dollar you spend with us. Coupons are a big part of that, so below we have outlined our guidelines for your convenience.

H-E-B accepts the following types of coupons:

•Manufacturer issued coupons obtained from printed publications (newspaper, FSI, magazines, etc)
•H-E-B Issued coupons
•Manufacturer-sponsored coupons (Type M coupon; has an 'M' in bottom left corner)
•Store-sponsored coupons (Type S Coupon; has an 'S' in the bottom left corner)
•Big Savings coupons (Type B coupons; has a 'B' in the bottom left corner)
•The above mentioned H-E-B issued coupons are typically
•Available at store level and typically yellow in color
•Generated by a coupon printer at the register and provided with customer receipt
•Distributed via direct mail to customer households or other printed publications
•Printable coupons with a bar code (i.e. Online or Internet coupons)

Please consider the following guidelines and limitations:

•Coupons can only be redeemed for items, brands, and sizes as specified by the requirements of the coupon.
•Only one manufacturer coupon per item is permitted.
•Combining a manufacturer issued coupon with an H-E-B issued manufacturer coupon (Type M) on the same item is not permitted
•H-E-B will combine store sponsored yellow coupons with manufacturer coupons for the same product
•One (1) manufacturer issued coupon and one (1) H-E-B issued Store-sponsored (Type S)
•One (1) manufacturer issued coupon and one (1) H-E-B issued Big Savings coupon (Type B)
•H-E-B does not double or triple coupons.
•H-E-B cannot give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item.
•Coupons must be presented to the cashier at time of purchase.
•Coupons cannot be redeemed for cash.
•The following coupons cannot be accepted:
•Expired coupons
•Competitor coupons
•Coupons without a barcode
•H-E-B accepts valid online and other printable coupons as follows:

Important Information on how to Maximize your Savings at HEB!!!

Quote :
When HEB is having a Buy xx Get yy FREE, you may use a Coupon on the Item xx (the one you have to purchase in order to get the other Item(s) Free) but you CANNOT use a coupon on Item yy. HEB's yellow In-Store coupons are indeed Manufacturer Coupons, so when they scan the Yellow In-Store coupon to make one of your items free that coupon slot has already been taken and any other coupons you may try and use on the Free item will beep.

HEB's Policy on Internet Coupons thanks to easydoesit:

Here is the HEB coupon policy that my cousin received back from HEB:

Dear H-E-B Customer Relations:

Hello and thank you for contacting us at our H-E-B Web Site. We always appreciate hearing from our Friends and Customers.

Thank you for sharing your concerns regarding H-E-B accepting internet coupons. Our stores can accept internet coupons; however, they must have a clear bar code that scans for the correct amount, as this is how we determine that they are valid. There is a maximum dollar value of $10 and a limit of two of the same internet coupon. We do not accept free item internet coupons, to include buy one get one free offers, due to fraud in this area, and all internet coupons must scan to be accepted. This is not to say that all coupons found online are valid. Some times what a customer thinks is a coupon is nothing more than a statement from a supplier with a cost listed on it and this is not redeemable. Additionally, many coupons found online are for a specific participating retailer. These coupons would not be redeemable at H-E-B.

H-E-B is proud to serve you as our Customer and we will look forward to all future opportunities we may have to serve you. We genuinely value your comments and your business. As we strive to deliver superior Customer Service, we encourage you to continue letting us know how we can serve you better.

Sincerely,
xxxxx

?? Confused Confused - why does that matter? The mq BOGO says Buy one P, Get one P free - doesnt specify poo vs cond.....at least mine doesnt Smilie My YQs all say AND.....Thx for explaining further Smilie

OH - and found some overlapping YQs......Buy OM lunch meat and Cheese, Get Bread free PLUS Buy OM Meat and Cheese, get M&C cup, Kool-Aid, and sandwich shop Mayo free. I didnt catch the sizes for the meat/chz but lady in front of me at c/o bought $2.88 turkey & 3.xx cheese and got all 4 items free, no beeps. HTH
Well, until todays P&G I was doing
Shampoo 3.79
Conditioner 3.79
Hairspray 3.87
Hairspray 3.87

-3.87 YQ buy shampoo OR conditioner get hairspray free
-3.87 YQ buy shampoo OR conditioner get hairspray free

15.32 worth of products for 7.58 and part way towards the $15 dollar rebate that ended Saturday. (Of course I doubled it and get the 10 cat because we were totally out of shampoo and this deal came along at the right time). MM in the end.

Now the YQ coupon reads buy Shampoo AND Conditioner so technically only one hairspray free. Still a great deal with the new P&G B1g1 (and I dont need anymore hairspray!)

Wow...had not noticed and the ones in my purse were "AND" but today went to another store and those were "OR" strange is that the old bar code on both were the same.

Question from a heb newb... I looked today and HEB has 2 packs of gilette fusion proglide blades for $33 - $10 offer = $23. It's a pinch cheaper than Amazon.

Any ways to make this a better deal? The only yellow slips I saw were for the razor which I do not need. And Sunday's paper only had a coupon on the razor as well.

Thanks!

Doesn't really address this specific deal but if u play the CVS/Wags game long enough, you'll begin accumulating free/almost free razors left and right. Not sure if u r brand loyal, a new couponer or just new to HEB. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that if u plan to hit up the drugstore game and u r not brand loyal, u may not want to stock up a whole lot on blades. It'll be so much cheaper to get new razors than blades in the long run......

Thanks - yes, I know all about that game - but it seems like lately the game is over as the $4 coupons don't seem to be coming like they used to.

I have so many razor arms, i could start a business selling razor arms Smilie

Thoughts on next week's ad? Here [inserts2online.com] is the one for San Angelo - just look for where it says "StoreID=52" in the URL bar and change the 52 to whatever your store's number is (not that HEB seems to vary its ads much). Sorry if that is already a well known trick, I didn't want to post the link and not mention it just in case.

I had a weird experience at HEB today. I started it by daring to do a "quick" shop on my lunch break. I didn't realize that the $10 coupon would print out as soon as $30 worth of P&G products after store coupons buy before manufacturer coupons were run up so I ended up with way more than the $30 required...nor did I realize that the cashier would grab it out of the printer and apply it to that same order! I honestly didn't realize I was getting in her line or I would have run far far away...she is very nice and not exactly bad at her job, but just makes ringing up orders that I wasn't even using coupons on a gigantic hassle!* I didn't like that she used the $10 coupon without asking me (I would never do that to one of my customers) but figured $10 is $10...

I bought 4 Always (two liners, two pads), used two of the YQ B coupons, then had 4 MQs for Always. My thinking was since the YQ B is for buy 2, I could appropriately use 2 MQs for each one of those products. Is the policy in practice one MQ + YQ B no matter the quantity of product required on the YQ? (In my opinion) the coupon policy doesn't directly address that situation but the strict interpretation would be just 1 + 1. Said I had handed her SIX Always coupons, and I did have 6 Always coupons when I walked in, but I thought I weeded the two I wasn't going to use out (I just shoved them in my pocket on the way out so I'm not sure what was in what stack originally). The register beeped at the 3rd Always coupon, so if I did hand her six I did hand her two too many...but shouldn't I have been able to use 4? The two she gave back to me were the higher value ones too. Frown Plus I see CVS has a better deal now.

Last but not least while typing up this post I noticed that she didn't take off my Speed Stick coupons...I bought 4 2oz packages at 0.98c each and had 2 BOGO coupons. I understand that CS probably can't refund me the difference so I hope I can just return them tomorrow.

Plus there was some issue with the Bounty coupon. I kept saying, just take it off, I have my $30 and have held up your line enough! But no, she forced it through because I was "nice". I hate it when cashiers do that! It creates confusion for other shoppers and risks her getting in trouble. Just tell me what I did wrong & I'll fix it!!

Lesson learned? Take anxiety medication before going couponing at HEB, and no matter how slow HEB is, do NOT go on your lunch break because a line will form behind you! Felt bad for all those people.

Sorry for the long post everyone. I would really appreciate any advice on what the heck happened here.

*Lady, I just moved here from halfway across the country and need to do some stress relief baking. If I want to spend $14 on a microplane zester because mine is lost on a moving truck somewhere then please just let me out of the store without giving me the third degree and in under 20 minutes.

OT: I wanted to let you guys know that I've been trying to use up all those meatballs (turkey) that we got in that HEB deal a while ago and my new favorite is. Use 3 turkey meatballs put them in a lettuce wrap (I used iceberg) and add Tzatziki sauce. Everyone loved it even the 3 year old. Now back to the deal- although I haven't been able to do any lately at HEB because I have a shelf clearer in the neighborhood!!!
