Official HEB coupon policy, from their website:

H-E-B Coupon Policy
At H-E-B, we know how important it is for you to maximize every dollar you spend with us. Coupons are a big part of that, so below we have outlined our guidelines for your convenience.

H-E-B accepts the following types of coupons:

•Manufacturer issued coupons obtained from printed publications (newspaper, FSI, magazines, etc)
•H-E-B Issued coupons
•Manufacturer-sponsored coupons (Type M coupon; has an 'M' in bottom left corner)
•Store-sponsored coupons (Type S Coupon; has an 'S' in the bottom left corner)
•Big Savings coupons (Type B coupons; has a 'B' in the bottom left corner)
•The above mentioned H-E-B issued coupons are typically
•Available at store level and typically yellow in color
•Generated by a coupon printer at the register and provided with customer receipt
•Distributed via direct mail to customer households or other printed publications
•Printable coupons with a bar code (i.e. Online or Internet coupons)

Please consider the following guidelines and limitations:

•Coupons can only be redeemed for items, brands, and sizes as specified by the requirements of the coupon.
•Only one manufacturer coupon per item is permitted.
•Combining a manufacturer issued coupon with an H-E-B issued manufacturer coupon (Type M) on the same item is not permitted
•H-E-B will combine store sponsored yellow coupons with manufacturer coupons for the same product
•One (1) manufacturer issued coupon and one (1) H-E-B issued Store-sponsored (Type S)
•One (1) manufacturer issued coupon and one (1) H-E-B issued Big Savings coupon (Type B)
•H-E-B does not double or triple coupons.
•H-E-B cannot give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item.
•Coupons must be presented to the cashier at time of purchase.
•Coupons cannot be redeemed for cash.
•The following coupons cannot be accepted:
•Expired coupons
•Competitor coupons
•Coupons without a barcode
•H-E-B accepts valid online and other printable coupons as follows:
•Online and other Printable coupons should be legible and have a bar code.
•Buy-one-get-one-free coupons (BOGOs) are accepted. (i.e. Buy X, Get X Free)
•"Free product" printable coupons are not accepted (i.e. Get X Free)
•Printable Coupons will not be accepted if they appear copied or are altered in any way. They should be printed directly from the website or email in which they were offered.
•Printable Coupons have unique serial numbers and follow an industry standard format; they are non-transferable, and should not be copied, scanned, sold, traded, or otherwise distributed.
•H-E-B reserves the right to refuse any coupon or limit quantities.

Important Information on how to Maximize your Savings at HEB!!!

Quote :
When HEB is having a Buy xx Get yy FREE, you may use a Coupon on the Item xx (the one you have to purchase in order to get the other Item(s) Free) but you CANNOT use a coupon on Item yy. HEB's yellow In-Store coupons are indeed Manufacturer Coupons, so when they scan the Yellow In-Store coupon to make one of your items free that coupon slot has already been taken and any other coupons you may try and use on the Free item will beep.

HEB's Policy on Internet Coupons thanks to easydoesit:

Here is the HEB coupon policy that my cousin received back from HEB:

Dear H-E-B Customer Relations:

Hello and thank you for contacting us at our H-E-B Web Site. We always appreciate hearing from our Friends and Customers.

Thank you for sharing your concerns regarding H-E-B accepting internet coupons. Our stores can accept internet coupons; however, they must have a clear bar code that scans for the correct amount, as this is how we determine that they are valid. There is a maximum dollar value of $10 and a limit of two of the same internet coupon. We do not accept free item internet coupons, to include buy one get one free offers, due to fraud in this area, and all internet coupons must scan to be accepted. This is not to say that all coupons found online are valid. Some times what a customer thinks is a coupon is nothing more than a statement from a supplier with a cost listed on it and this is not redeemable. Additionally, many coupons found online are for a specific participating retailer. These coupons would not be redeemable at H-E-B.

H-E-B is proud to serve you as our Customer and we will look forward to all future opportunities we may have to serve you. We genuinely value your comments and your business. As we strive to deliver superior Customer Service, we encourage you to continue letting us know how we can serve you better.

Sincerely,
xxxxx

What was the way to check tomorrow's ad? I thought there was a link we could check but nothing comes up when I search, so I must be entering the wrong keywords. Trying to figure out if I should go today or tomorrow for some basic non-coupon groceries....

Hot deal on the Buy HEB Chewy Granola Bars, Get Free 1/4 lb Hill Country Fare sliced turkey breast from the deli !! The label on the outside of the pouch said $1.03 for .26 lb and the YQ took off $2 so .91 for both! The granola bars are $1.88. When the deli person was weighing the turkey, I thought I saw the scale go to .43 lb. I think the pouch was already pre-labeled.

The YQ expires today and must be obtained from the deli counter because they have to slice them up.

I'm loving the Tylenol Precise deal-$6.27 (use $2.50B YQ and $3 man. Q) and the Gain dish liquid deal $1.97( $1 B YQ and $0.50 man Q)! I've found the Gain bottles at HEB plus only and this particular store did not have the YQs, so I'm glad I had some in my bag! I found a YQ today for buy HEB coffee ($2.48) and get Hershey's flavored coffee creamer free($2.00). We go through coffee like water in my house. HEB plus also has the $2.47 Mr. Clean spray, so $0.97 after B YQ and $0.50 man coupon.
Whats the expiration date of the $1 Gain YQ?

There's 1 more week. I gave up on this deal-1 cat printed out of 3. I just checked my $5 cats and they have expiration dates! Make sure and check your cats. Even though they state you can use them between 7/5-7/17-my cats expire on 7/6!

There's 1 more week for this too! When you see some grab a handful. I was having a very hard time finding them. One of the manager's at the closest HEB to my house said they didn't have this YQ. I find that hard to believe since all the stores close by have/had them.

The Revlon YQs are good for 1 more week tool

I found a pretty good YQ- buy Kraft green can parm cheese $3.50 and get HEB meatballs free-$2.97. There was a tearpad next to the parm cheese for $1 off produce(I got a head of lettuce). I was hoping that the coupon would scan, but it didn't. The cashier had to key it in (remember last year?!!). I paid $3.50 for $7.59 worth of food.

I used the $3 Bayer coupon on a $2.22 bottle (36 count) and it was beepless!!

I'm afraid so! I'm going to try this coupon at an HEB plus tomorrow. I went there this morning and every single one of my coupons scanned! I was so surprised.

Thanks so much for your response. Gives me better ammunition when I go back tomorrow. Waited til 10 to go when it was only 96. First Mgr told me I couldnt use a MQ with a B (ProNutrients) that my printout of the Q Policy was old & they no longer allow it. Of course I knew better & told him so. Even came home and its the same policy. Then he told me my Qs were fraudulent b/c they didnt scan. (No, its just the new barcode & y'all havent updated your systems yet) Oh no, the new barcodes scan he said. So I asked then why didnt newspaper Qs scan that had the new barcode? Insisted they do. I shop every other day at HEB, they dont scan yet. Sorry just had to vent to people that understood. He finally agreed to manually entered (B YQs woudlnt scan either & then the dang CAT wouldn't print. UGH. I got 2 ProNutients & 2 Chapsticks to put me over the $15 after B YQs just in case

Edit: tried to rep but had to spread the luv

Looks like there is a pretty good deal on Cutter with the $1.50/1 Cutter Product "B" coupon. Stacks well with the $1.00/1 Cutter Product from 5/20 RP

Deal Idea:
(1)-Cutter Insect Repellent - $2.97
(1)-$1.00/1 Cutter Product 5/20 RP
(1)-$1.50/1 Cutter Product "B" coupon
Total: $0.47

and there is a really good deal on Centrum Pro Nutrients

Deal Idea:
(1)-Centrum Pro Nutrients 50ct - $9.97
(1)-$5.00/1 Centrum Pro Nutrients IPC
(1)-$3.00/1 Pro Nutrients 14-100ct "B" coupon
Total: $1.97

Looks there will be some good deals on Natures Made Supplements as well the $5.00/$10.00 Purchanse "B" coupon as well.

Found $2/1 prime steak ybq that expires 7/3. Smaller strip steaks range from $8-10, so $6-8 after q.
