Use code BBQ30 for 30% off.

I almost bought it earlier but didn't want to mess with the rebate. I would rather pay a little more.

Just a heads up. I used to own this crockpot and it never worked properly. Maybe mine was a dud but it would take almost twice the amount of time it should have to make meats tender. I'm talking like a minimum of 12 hours to cook anything properly. I think this crock pot sucks pretty badly. I just threw mine away.

I needed a new one. I dropped the top and broke the plastic part that clamps it down on my old one. Thanks OP.

We got in on a Slickdeal years ago on a slow cooker that, while I'm pretty sure it's not the same make/model, has given us similar issues trying to cook anything. It's to the point where it's sitting on the counter but I'm not really sure why as it might as well be in the trash can. Every time one of these deals pops up I read reviews & posts hoping this will be the replacement for it but I always seem to come away with no replacement.

Any suggestions from anyone on an affordable slow cooker that actually performs well and lasts?

Its so frustrating, I know. For me, I bought this Hamilton Beach one as a secondary one, so now I just use my original one which works, buts its a little stained and not as nice looking, its a Rival brand. Its white and has the phrase Crock Pot underneath the Rival logo. I know Rival isn't the best brand either, but I've had luck with mine.
